There is free wi-fi and computers, and the breakfast included a large variety (bananas, bagels/cinnamon rolls, omelets, yoplait etc). There is free coffee/tea in the lobby. At first I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews so I was pleasently surprised about our stay. It is an average Holiday Inn Express. I felt the price was good and the location GREAT. Right next to the Lincoln Tunnel. It took us 5 or 6 minutes by car to be in the tunnel. We drove in one night and rode the shuttle the next day. Sunday […] you can park in the city on the street for free but not during the week. The shuttle made this trip perfect for us. We went at 10am and came back at 8pm. There is a fee for round trip and one way. We had the drivers # and he was reachable. We changed the time we were coming out of the city and he was right were he said he would be:) I also enjoyed the breakfast. It was a good option of filling up on a meal before entering the city. This hotel is only 15 minutes from Manhattan and there is a bus service from the hotel door to Times Square. The personnel is polite and friendly, breakfast (American) is included. This hotel is well-kept, has clean, comfortable rooms, and has a very good breakfast available. The staff was very friendly, and the room was reasonably priced. However, the location isn't great. There are two other hotels in the immediate area, and within a ten minute walk several large stores--Toys R Us, Party City, etc. But the rest of the area is […] rather 'slum-like' with run-down residential and abandoned commercial buildings. It felt more like 'center-city' than the burbs. The shuttle service to NYC--which isn't offered by the hotel, it is a third party--was horrible. The driver kept trying to charge us $13 for two $4.50 fares, the van was about 110 degrees and he couldn't understand "Please turn down the heat." And he didn't drop us off where he was supposed to. The NJ Transit bus was a better, although you have to walk about ten minutes to get to the stop--through the above-mentioned slum-like areas and along a busy highway. The location wouldn't have been so much of an issue had I been staying there alone, but I had a 7-year-old with me, and I prefer obviously safe locations when he is along. Overall, this hotel is a great value, and probably best for business travelers, singles, or couples who don't mind a little bit of effort to get into the city, or who will be driving themselves or using a car service, and who don't mind dark neighborhoods. Hotel was the familiar Holiday Inn Express that I like, decor and furnishinngs. Apparantly a very old hotel converted to a HIEX so it did not always hit the mark. Room was very small with no additional seating. Parking was good although neighborhood was a bit concerning.

I indeed spent one complete day inside the hotel with my family during Sandy storm and hotel was ok in all forms. It is easy to get to NY, Lincoln tunnel is very near and shuttle services to city are ok. Breakfast was ok, the same one of all Holiday Inn Express. Its not the fanciest place, but was nice,clean, & comfortable. we had stayed here while we looked at a few colleges for one of my kids. great access to NYC. only negitive is that the parking lot is on a hill and tough to walk up. Matthew helped me not only get set with my room, but assisted me in finding the most convenient way into nyc ....a feat in itself considering I needed to be there Friday night as well as very early Saturday morning. Nice people, quick to my requests, good breakfast, modern hotel located in New Jersey about 15 minutes from Manhattan. Room rather small for all the furniture inside. Good value for what I paid. Every hour there is a small bus that takes you to 7th Ave and 41th Ave and brings you back later, for $15 go and return included. Recomendable.

The hotel is built on a steep hill and so parking is not a fun thing to do, especially when you have heavy bags to move in and out of the hotel. The hotel is not very close to public transportation and the shuttle service is not always reliable.
