"Crazy traffic"

"I guess I got what I paid for..."
Thank God it was only one night. I was running a race the next day about 20 minutes away, so I thought for one night it couldn't be that bad. That's about right. More then one night and I would have felt cheated out of my money. Some of the rooms are updated, but most aren't. Room felt very old, and the gentleman at the desk was no help, unless you […] are an attractive woman. He just acted like I was inconveniencing him when I wanted to check in and get an extra cot for my room. And the free breakfast was a joke. The breakfast consisted of 2 cereal choices, oatmeal packets, stale english muffins, 3 day old tiny danishes, and some sad looking frozen waffles left out in a bin. Oh yeah, there was coffee and juice too. I guess I got what I paid for and like I said, if I had to stay for more than one night, I probably never would have stayed there at all. "Didn't Live Up To My Expectations"
I was given a room on the first floor. When I asked about security, I was told that the back door could only be opened by a key card. During my four day stay the door was unlocked, and their excuse was flimsy. I found only three shirt hangers and two skirt hangers, the kind that are permanently attached to the rod. When I asked for additional hangers, […] I was told that they had none. There were hangers in the housekeeping supply room, but I was told that they were not allowed to give them to guests. They did give me a few shirt hangers; I went to the local Bed, Bath, and Beyond and purchased a multiple skirt rack. The complimentary breakfast was served only until 9:00. Since I was on vacation, I did not get up until 9:00, so I was unable to enjoy this amenity. I checked in on a Tuesday. I left two notes with requests for housekeeping on Wednesday. Neither was fulfilled. On Thursday I returned to my room in the evening to find that the room had not been cleaned. The dirty towels were not replaced and the bed was not made. I was informed the following morning that the rooms are NOT cleaned each day, but as an Expedia guest, mine should have been. They apologized. I was able to connect to the wireless Internet, but my laptop said it was risky, because it was not a secure connection. The bed was uncomfortable, and the towels were scratchy. Room key deactivated every night. Too many pets staying in the hotel. Bedding had burn holes in them. Hallways and room had musty stale smell. Never any parking. "The entire hotel smells like smoke"
I knew it was not a smoke free hotel; however I have stayed previously on hotels that allow smoking,, but the smell here was terrible. If you want to visit NYC do not stay at this hotel, it takes you about 1.5 hours to get to penn station, it costs $12.5 each time you rife the NJ transit, so a total of $25 extra daily each person.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It rained in my room"
It takes alot for me to complain about something but this experience was terrible. The bathroom ceiling was leaking right above the toilet and what ever it was it was yellow.. we kept getting locked out of our room and having to go down to the desk to get our keys recoded. elevator smelt really bad like urine.
