We arrived in time to watch the sunset. The hotel's viewing area was closed for a wedding which didn't matter because we have an incredible view from our room. Room was just okay, nothing special. Two of my friends and I stayed here for my birthday in Sedona. Our room was clean, and we thought the beds were pretty comfortable. Our room was very clean. The desk staff were really nice both times we went in to check in and check out, and the location was perfect. There were lots of restaurants and shops around, and we went hiking three different […] places. The only negative this was that I don't think our heater worked. "I love this hotel"
I've stayed here several times when I want to escape Phoenix and this time I was delighted to see a new landscaped patio with a spectacular view for watching the sun set. It's a nice way for guests to socialize while enjoying Sedona's scenery. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, my only complaint is the blinds don't block the light […] so if you like a dark room for sleeping, bring a sleep mask. It's peaceful and the grounds are very pretty with little streams and flowers and benches and lots of trees. The downside is, you have to drive down the mountain for everything. It's only a mile, so it's not so bad, just takes a little planning. It's pet-friendly for an extra $10 a night and my dog loves it there. Sedona's hidden gem. Amazing views, terrific staff. Room smelled like smoke, but we enjoyed our stay and the grounds and the other guests staying there so much that we promptly forgot about that. Beautfiful location with panoramic views of Sedona's famous red rocks. This was an older motel with warm ambience of a corner gas fireplace and beamed ceiling. Unfortunately we found dried food on the sheets. The staff was responsive to provide replacement sheets. Originally we had booked a room for 4 adults but later got notification that it was overbooked […] and we were left with a king bed and 2 roll out beds. The king bed was hard as a rock and the two roll outs looked like the mattresses were 30 years old, with absolutely no support. I cannot recommend this motel inspite of the beautiful location. We had stayed here years ago and decided to revisit. Rooms are clean but don't expect modern furnishings. The room also had a artifical floral smell. Best is the landscaping.
