the room was quite old and not as comfortable as I would have liked. The grounds were beautiful. Location was good. I would not stay here again.

The rooms at Sky Ranch are clean but dark. The walls are paper thin. The bathrooms are clean, large, and bright with fluffy new towels. The staff is friendly and responsive. The place is serious need of an update because it looks like the last time it was decorated was sometime in the 80's, but the real draw here is the views. We got a room "with a view". Unfortunately, the only window in the room was on the opposite side. The property boastsone of the nicest lookout points in town and it is spectacular. However the rooms are very dated & trapped in the 70's. On the surface ours seemed clean. Then I saw old, dirty tissue s behind the bed. Not a lot of positives about this place. Although on top of a hill, it overlooks West Sedona, so not a lot of good views without buildings. Not convenient to walk anywhere.

The room smelled musty and there was mold near the floor boards. The A/C unit mounted near the ceiling blew cold air directly at the desk area making it impossible to use the desk. Room either too hot or too cold.

The only thing this place has going for it is the location as far as watching the sunset... the place is old and reminiscent of a 1950's old west motel. Everything is out dated and the personnel are not friendly..

Room was well below average in cleanliness, carpets were dirty & parking lot is dirt, so plan on leaving in the morning with a very dusty car. Very important point for business travelers who are trying to make a solid impression on clients with a clean car. Note to those business travelers that stay - you will need to have a car wash after one night […] here. The mattresses need to be upgraded, lots of spring and bounce (children would love them for bouncing on) but painfully stiff & uncomfortable after one night of stay. The toilets may be the SMALLEST toilets I have ever seen in use in a hotel, and this is from a traveler who has been on 4 continents. Extremely small and very low to the ground. I asked the management if they had installed them as some sort of joke - they did not see my humorous point of view. Perhaps they received a great price on the lot during the last remodel (1978) Another point was the excessive amount of noise from the air conditioning system in the rooms, lots of chatter, vibration, rattling and over-excessive turning on and off. Impossible to obtain deep sleep, between the horrible mattresses & the unending clatter of the cooling system in the room. Staying in Sedona – such a remarkable place, should demand higher standards of cleanliness and quality for the price that is charged on this property. Read more

The grounds are fabulous and very relaxing. The views are incredible (hey it's Sedona after all). There is a scenic outlook right by the property and lots of people come up nightly to watch the sunsets which are spectacular; however it creates somewhat of a traffic jam. Keep in mind, though, that the airport is right next door. We didn't hear too many […] aircraft taking off or landing, but one completely woke us up. The bed was horrible. I felt like I was sleeping on bricks and the pillows were paper thin and lumpy. The first night I sat up in a very uncomfortable chair for about 3 1/2 hours as I was so uncomfortable in the bed. The second night I borrowed a pillow from friends who were staying at a timeshare and was able to sleep for 2-3 hours, then wake up, roll over and sleep for another 2-3 hours. Amazing what a good pillow can do for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was teeny weeny and had a tiny toilet. If you like all the comforts don't stay here, but if you like beautiful scenery and gorgeous views AND you don't want to be in town where all the people are, this is the place for you. Read more

This hotel has great views, but the maintenance is poor. Our air conditioner did not work at all and at about 9:00 in the morning the maintenance staff woke us to the sound of two extremely loud leaf blowers. At checkout, our complaint about these problems were met with indifference.

Unfortunately, the only thing good about this hotel is the nearby panoramic viewing area down the road. We paid a premium for a room and were underwhelmed when we arrived. The hotel is trying to take advantgage of the many foreign tourists and surely does not rely on repeat business. 他の方のレビューを見て期待しすぎていただけに、 とてもガッカリしてしまいました。 デラックス　ダブルベッドの暖炉付きのお部屋にしましたが、 想像していたものと全く違い、これが暖炉？と思うほどのものでした。 夜はシャワーも水しか出ないし、 古いロッジだからかバスルームも狭く使い勝手も悪く、 「本当にただの景色がいいロッジ」としか思えません。 LA在住で、両親が日本から来た際にセドナまで足を伸ばすのに 評判のいい宿泊場所を探したつもりでしたが ここには二度と泊まらないし、友人にも勧めはしません。 ただセドナの景色を楽しめるだけで満足の人にはいいと思います。

Das Zimmer ist schmutzig, dunkel, verwohnt und klein. Wir hatten zum Glück eigene Decken dabei. Die Anlage ist hübsch, der Pool ist alt und dreckig. Die Liegen schmutzig. Lage ist Super aber es gibt genug andere Hotels die schön sind. Rezeption unfreundlich.
