If you need a romantic getaway or just a relaxing weekend this is the place. Beautiful scenery, classic styling and perfect atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive and the ambience could not be better. Great value for the money as well. We will be returning there again.

The Staff was incredible, but the room was not. We stayed in a room in a cottage that was very old and definitely did not have the amenities that were shown on the website. The bed was great. The bathroom was average at best. The tub was very shallow and narrow. I'm a tall man, but not 6'6" and the shower head would not adjust high enough for me. My […] wife would have enjoyed a bath, but would never take one in the tub provided. Every picture I saw on line had a fireplace in the room, but ours did not have one. Love that they enforce the "no-tipping because you already paid for it in your resort fee" policy. (except restaurant/spa). In 2013, people simply don't carry as much loose cash around and I always get uncomfortable at resorts that supply exceptional service and allow tipping because I have to keep resupplying my small bills and have to constantly be […] cognizant of "should I tip for this or not" type moments. It was the perfect place to spend 3 glorious December days on our first trip to Sedona. Our room was luxurious and the staff was very attentive. We […] had a large, beautifully decorated spa cottage with a jetted tub, large shower, outdoor shower, indoor gas fireplace and large patio with a lounge chair and a table and chairs. We didn't use the patio as much as we would have in warmer weather. The only thing I missed was a red rock view, but there are rooms that do have the view. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and it was very fairly priced and delicious. We loved feeding the ducks by the creek in the morning - just like summer camp. The spa cottage was amazing with one of the best beds and linens we'd ever experienced. The outdoor shower was almost as enjoyable as the jetted spa tub in the gigantic bathroom suite. The housekeeping staff saw that we had been using the robes and always laid them out for us. We will definitely be going back to L'Auberge... from valet to check-in to bell hop, the staff was warm and friendly... our room was absolutely beautiful and quiet... and the food was phenomenal. With it's secluded location right below one of sedona's main drags, this hotel was a great getaway, while still being close to shopping and dining. The spa cottage we stayed in was extremely comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

The L'Auberge wa a very nice hotel. The staff was always helpful and it was nice to have complimentary morning coffe, tea, hot chocolate and scones. They have an astronomer come 3 nights a week to show the guests the heavens above Sedona. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but I'm sure the meals wer good. We spent two nights there and the staff was excellent. We were there in December so just be aware that ALL the room are either cabins or the the lodge... where we stayed... and you must get there by walking outside. We did not eat in the restaurant it was a bit too pricey for us. My husband saw 22 dollars for locks and bagels and that pretty much ended […] the idea of eating there :) BUT... from the front desk to the bell hops they were GREAT. We only spent one night this week, wish we could have stayed much longer! We stayed in the lodge (the original hotel) which was recently refurbished. There were very few people in the lodge when we were there, presumably because it was the first week in September, so it was exceptionally quiet. Although it was lovely, next time we'll upgrade to one […] of the cottages with the outdoor showers. The beds were marvelous, the service 5-star, love the hotel's "no tipping" policy. The hotel is located right off 89A at the bottom of a very long, steep driveway so you will either need to use the hotel shuttle or drive your car to get to Sedona's "uptown" area even though it's nearby. The hotel restaurant is an absolute marvel. Ask for an outside table by the creek, it's gorgeous! Read more

This was our first time in Sedona. L'Auberge was the perfect romantic getaway. The location on the Oak Creek was serene and beautiful. The staff was attentive and did not accept tips for valet and housekeeping. The rooms were comfortable and the location was in the center of everything. Definitely will go back again.

My husband and I just returned from a stay in Sedona. We loved L'Auberge. When you arrive, you are treated to a complimentary glass of the wine of your choice, which we enjoyed by oak creek which runs along the property. It is soooo beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant was incredible with the tables along the creek also so you can watch the ducks […] swim by. So relaxing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, we loved the outdoor shower, that was amazing. The staff were perfect they treat you like royalty. The maid service is perfect. It's close to everything. The service during our stay was fantastic. Never have I been treated so nicely. Even while using the common areas the staff was always pleasant and accomodating. I would not rate my room as high. It felt like an apartment I rented while in college. very small vanity and bathroom for a luxury suite. The patio had little to no privacy.

We had to wait for room to be ready and when it was ready, the check in staff insisted that we had to wait to be walked out to the bellman to be introduced. No. I think it's a shared pool with another hotel, 1972 tile, and though it was windy, no excuse for a pool that was that dirty. Turn down service is just that. Turn down bed, but no clean towels. Romantic escape -- everything wonderful. Special dinner very nice, but a bit pricey -- even for such a location. We stayed in one of the "cottages" .. everything perfect. Wood-burning fire and sounds of the creek below, priceless. Especially like the 'resort fee' policy -- no tipping otherwise. Included in the room price.

This was our anniversary and I was very disappointed. The staff were wonderful! I would rate staff very high. It was the room, Our Garden room over looked the cabin in front of us. The room temperature was very cold. It had a fireplace which my husband had to keep putting wood on the fir most of the night. The heating unit was in a corner so that part […] of the room was warm. The bathroom was extremely cold. I had to come out of the shower and dress in the bedroom. There was two drawers to put your clothes. The door had gaps so cold air kept coming directly infront of the bed. I don't know how different things would be if it wasn't cold. Sedona was beautiful! the other thing that made me very upset was our new's years' dinner. The cost was $94 a perso, I ordered duck and steak, I wanted them cooked medium. The waitress stated the chef perferred medium rare, repeated two more times. So I said ok. when the duck arrived I gave to my husband. The ribeye steak was so raw I could not look or eat. This was a very special dinner, we were celebrating our 44th anniversary. At this point I would not recomend. I do not think this was a 4 star hotel and I am going to write a complaint to the hotel, and AAA. Read more
