Explained to front desk clerk that I accidentally washed & dried my debit card & it declines on occasion but if you swipe it again, it will go through. Paid for room charge with no problem but it declined for the $250 hold for "incidentals." Clerk refused to swipe it again so I had to give it to them in cash. I spent approximately $500 for my room stay […] & I think asking him to try it again was not asking for too much. I even logged in & showed him my bank balance but he would not do it. Location off hwy and Disney were good. I believe there is a jail near by, didnt stick around to find out. Counters, linens, paint updated, but carpet was horribly stained. Maybe a "green" renovation with soap dispensers, but not really newly renovated like website led to believe. Be careful with No Refund Policy.

And the floor in the bathroom looked like they forgot to clean it after working on the plugged toilet, so i had to take a towel and clean it myself before going barefoot... The french doors in our hotel suite did not shut all the way. So whoever woke up first to watch tv in the common living area those of us who were still sleeping would hear the tv on. Air conditioning vent in the bedroom area blew directly on the second bed. My husband had to adjust the vent in the room the next night. I stayed for an event at Disneyland. Did not know about a huge outlet mall located right next to the hotel so it was a big plus. The hotel has hot tub and pool and provide pool towels. Towels were dirty. My towel had hair and some brown stain. Pool and tub were good tho. The frot desk service was slow and the whole area smelled like sewer.

It's hard to distinguish if it really was as bad as we thought, or just not what we were used to, as my husband & I are used to staying at very top of the line hotels. Thin walls so at night when the people above us were walking around, we felt like we were in a cheap apartment because you could hear them walking around so much. Also the room was loud inside, a lot of buzzing etc from who knows what, but I would say we definitely wished we had earplugs. So, overall, it was decent enough, but not up to our standards. This was the 2nd time I've stayed at a Best Western Hotel and still unsastisfied of its hotel room condition. I understand it's an older hotel that has been 'renovated' but it was more like updated furniture only. I'm not comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet and I always bring my own pair of flip flops when I stay at hotels anyway, but that's […] just my personal choice. Carpets are filthy, plain and simple. I don't allow my child to walk around the room barefoot either. If you don't mind being barefoot, try wearing white socks and you'll see what I mean. The showers are really loud and you could actually hear your 'neighbors' talking. Foot steps above aren't quiet either, especially if there are kids running around upstairs. Complimentary breakfast was your typical style...scrambled eggs, were horrible. I doubt they were even made from 'real' eggs. Staff was very helpful in providing the best help they could given the quality of the property. Property was older, clearly depreciated and in need of improvements. Numerous problems with our room prevented the stay from being even adequate. Lock did not work twice, came in late after disneyland tired and in need of rest.

We previously booked our room from 7/26-7/31. Lord and behold while we were at Disneyland on 7/30, we got a phone call from the front desk at 1:00Pm and told us that we needed to check out today. He told us that we only have until 2:00Pm to get back to the hotel to settle our bills. We explained that we booked through Expedia and our reservation lasted […] until 7/31. We asked him to double check for us and if there is some mistake we would be glad to charge through our credit card since we are at Disneyland right now and it's hard for us to leave our kids. The only explaination we got from them was that they got the infor mation on line about our reservation. On Wednesday the housekeeping person rolled by after 5 PM to drop off some fresh towels but there was no offer to remove the trash or see if we needed anything else. The continental breakfast was a joke. Waffles, runny eggs, sausage drowning in grease and cereal with a few cold pastries. The OJ machine was broken so there was OJ with ice (making it watery) in the iced tea urn and an empty bottle of apple juice were our drinking options along with some very strong coffee and cereal milk.
