The staff is outstanding. The hotels in need of some minor maintenance especially in the bathrooms. The bathtub in the room we stayed was stained with black. Last time we stayed there we asked for three separate room changes, this time I simply felt defeated and decided I'd simply take a shower this stay rather than a bath. :(

Attractive and well appointed room with very comfortable bed. My main complaint was a stale musty odor like old cigar smoke which was really off-putting. Proximity to rail tracks and frequent train noise also interfered with good sleep.

We had a room on the 12th floor and had no problem with noise. The room was nice and clean. The parking was convenient and easy, directly outside the door however the lot fills up quickly. You can park for free across the street of that happens. TV channels and clarity leave a lot to be desired. Although not real new, this hotel was very clean, service was good, and it was convenient to the airport and to I-90. However, I left my hairdryer there and called the next day and they said they would contact houskeeping and get back to me in 2 days. 2 days later I called them back, left the same information, got told that someone would get back to […] me in 2 days and I never heard from them. I'm still waiting and will try again, but I am beginning to think that someone on the staff did not return my hairdryer to last and found like they should have which makes me think I will not stay here again. Entrance and parking for the hotel is difficult and confusing for first time visitors. Main parking is in public parking garage, but could not see any signs telling me this. Hotel badly needs to review their entrance and parking signage. Could be made a lot better with a little thought. Ie add another entrance into front parking area, designate spaces […] for persons checking in by limiting parking near entrance to 15 minutes. With little to no costs, could correct this major flaw. Nice hotel. Great location. Close to the many brew pubs several Great restaurants Rex jakes walkers ciao mambo italian grill to name a few. Western heritage centre is fantastic and do is Yellowstone art center. There are soon to be six brew pubs and a new distillery all downtown. Great destination. Pretty good shape. The gentleman that checked us in definitely wasn't friendly. All the other staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. The bathroom has been remodeled but it wasn't the best job. Our fan didn't work and the wall coverings didn't completely cover the old coverings. It was an ok hotel.

Nice facility, room was ncie. I was in room1106 and was from the minute I entered, alarmed by the level of noise transfer from room to room. I could clearly hear the conversations of the people in the room next door. Their TV sounded like it was in my room. i was unable to get a good nights rest. the unpublished rate was about what one should pay here at any time. The ventilation system is very noisy. The beds/pillows were great. Very small bathroom. Everything in fine working order. Staff was non-existent. Restaurant was sad but fortunately many great choices near by.

Great, friendly fast service at the front desk and from the bellhop...wonderful room with nice amenities, comfortable bed with wonderful down pillows. We definitely would stay there again!

This was a very nice place with certainly above average facilities and services. Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very informed and professional. Plenty of parking for cars, not enough for trucks with trailers.

Room was clean and quiet on the 12th floor. Bed and linens nice. Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Parking limited at Hotel, but parking garage was validated by Hotel. Hot buffet breakfast a good way to start the day - paid for as part of the room charge. Would stay here again.

Crown Plaza has done a nice job updating the rooms. Beds are nice and lobby has a Starbucks. Location is downtown Billings. Rooms have only one sink and a very tiny amount of counter space which is my only complaint.

I would recommend staying here while in Billings. The rooms have been slightly updated but the bathtubs and tile could use some improvements. As a business traveler there wasn't any free electrical outlets at the desk which was inconvienent. (they had one on the lamp but those don't work for cell phones or laptops - at least mine didn't.) The Hotel its self is really nice. The bathroom was kinda gross and needs redone. Also parking for this hotel is a pain. You have to park in a little parking garage that makes for quite a walk to your room. But it was a really nice place to stay, just on the pricey end.

My wife and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Billings on 7/30-8/1. We were in town for a friend's wedding and were happy to be so close to everything. The shuttle from the airport was quick to pick us up. The room was very nice, with a big kind size bed. Surprisingly, it included a pull out couch as well and a nice flat screen tv on the wall. The view […] overlooking the city was also nice as well. The only negative thing I can say about the room was the shower appeared to need some repairs. You could tell that the tiles needed to be replaced and the water drained out slowly. In all honesty though, that was such a minor thing that did not effect our stay. We used Expedia’s unpublished hotel pick to get our room for our Billings trip. You pick a hotel rating based on stars and after you book your room, Expedia will then tell you what hotel was picked for you. We were very impressed with the hotel when we walked in, very nice and upscale. Check in was a breeze and the front desk clerks were very friendly. […] When we got to our room, we were very impressed how everything looked, the décor was very nice and the room was extremely clean. The only cons we had about this room, was the beds were a little small, the bathroom needed updating and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The first night the fan was set to auto and every time it kicked on it would wake us up. The second night we turned the fan to on and it was a little better, but still way too loud. We did manage to make it to the small gym they have, however, most of the equipment was not working properly and what equipment was there was not the quality you would expect in a hotel of this type. I would stay in this hotel again, however, I would make reservations in a king size room and make sure the AC would not keep us up. Read more

Centrally located in downtown Billings. Probably the "nicest" hotel in the downtown area. In walking distance to fine dining and shopping. An older facility that has been updated. Rooms are comfortable and it is generally quiet. Minor housekeeping issues.

We've passed through billings on the way to Yellowstone several times and this is by far and away the best place to stay. Clean, safe, efficient, good parking and a good restaurant with a georgous view of the area up top. Everything went perfectly for our party of 4. One member of our party has Celiac's disease and the restaurant did a great job of […] taking care of her dietary requirements. Also, there is an awesome bakery/breakfast place one block away to the East. Can't remember it's name but we go their every time we are in Billings AND it was a simple walk from the Crown.
