This hotel was not a pleasant stay at all. Upon entering the unmarked and poorly lit property, I was greeted by a dozen stray cat in congregating in the outdoor walkway and hotel entrance. The room and property were lackluster, I had to go to a neighboring hotel for the ice machines, as this hotel had none. The room smelled like mildew after reassurances […] by the hotel management to the contrary, there is NO WIFI at this hotel! They advertise having it, but not a single signal was present. Room and hotel in poor condition. Stairs in disrepair. Trash collecting in corners. Dirt everywhere. Office felt like a prison. Top it all off with a loud nightclub literally outside of our room. "Almost a nice place to stay"
Start with a standard motel and add some pretty iron work to the front that gives it a cute, sort of “New Orleans” look, and you have the Airport Waterfront Inn. The facility was well maintained and the rooms clean. None of the rooms have a view, but if you walk to the end of the balcony you get a very nice view of the Delaware River and Tinicum Island. […] If being right on the river is not enough, it is right next to a historic park. Even though it is very close to the airport, the planes were not annoying and not really noticeable at night. The down side? It is a little hard to find because it is pretty well hidden by a night club and a Holiday Inn Express. We could not get on the Internet, although we were too tired to really try to solve that problem. But the worst thing was “breakfast.” A cereal bar, an apple and a bottle of water do not make a breakfast. So adding a breakfast at Denny’s does make them less affordable than the posted price. "No Sleep Due to Noise"

Honestly the only way my family and I got this hotel was the Expedia deal where they don't let u know before hand which hotel u signed up for. No words can express our disappointment. It's by the water so it's a no no during winter. The rooms on one side face the water and the door kept rattling all night. The first room we went to the door didn't lock […] and their was no safety lock. It offers no security. The second night we were there a drunk man came knocking on the door mistakenly . Never again would I jeopardize my family like this. There is a club next door which was load but with the wind and rattling door, we had other things to worry about. OK, it's not the greatest hotel, mostly because of the old structure they have to work with. There is no elevator and the climb to the third floor is noteworthy, BUT, it is a ton less expensive compared to it's neighbor, the only other hotel on the water in that area. "Convenient to airport"
Perhaps we would have been happier with the hotel had we not come from the Hyatt Regency! After a newer hotel, it was apples to oranges and we had been a bit spoiled. However, the room was clean, the area was actually very quiet and we slept well. So for a quick stay to catch an early flight it was just fine for us. There is a Holiday Inn Express LITERALLY […] next door. One down side is that the adjacent restaurant really needs to clean their garbage containers, the air reeked of spoiled food/rancid grease. The first room we were assigned to was, horrible. It was right over a night club/ bar. The noise was ridiculous! The room smelled aweful, so I asked for a room that didn't have a door that has been half way kicked in, and non smoking, and away from the bar. The concierge ( loosely used) said all the rooms are non smoking! We went to our new room, and […] it was worse than the first!
