"Close to Grand canyon"
This inn is not too bad to stay for travelling Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
"1 Day stay with family is Nice..!"
It was nice stay at this hotel and really good complimentary breakfast with different variates & good comfort. (free internet, parking, breakfast) However it is quiet expensive 1 day room stay cost 225$ during weekdays. you can try next hotels near by if price bothers you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean hotel, close to Grand Canyon...convenient"
We checked in and were given a king room, even though I had requested double beds. Switching the rooms was a bit inconvenient, then when I went to the front desk to pick up the new keys, the desk clerk wanted to see my printout showing where I had originally requested double beds. Afterwards, everything was fine. The room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is a glitzed-up motel that sits just outside the entrance to the Grand Canyon. I had little use for the bowling lanes and other distraction at the property. I would have preferred a simpler (and cheaper) launching point for my Grand Canyon adventure. This hotel is not the destination, the Park is.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Way over priced"
The hotel and staff were nice. The arcade and bowling alley were cool. The room it's self was not so great. The old wall air unit was either cold or off. The room didn't smell fresh and the towels smelled dirty even though they looked clean. The room was very pricey night. We slept poorly and were ready to get out of there bright and early. The buffet […] breakfast was very good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel looked nice on the outside and had a new main building. We stayed in an older section. The two queen room was quite crowded and the bathroom small. The beds were fairly uncomfortable. A typical-looking budget motel. However, the price was not budget - the most expensive room on our trip. I think it was around $270/night. They did have a nice, […] ample, hot breakfast and were close to the Grand Canyon. Shopping in the village was limited, so the breakfast was necessary. We drove into the Grand Canyon for our visit, but a shuttle bus does stop and pick up visitors at the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Grand Canyon Entrance"
Booked a double room with 2 queen beds for an overnight stay. The room only had 1 king bed. The staff were unable to move us to a room with 2 queen beds, but provided an uncomfortable roll-away cot. On check-out I was charged $10 for the cot, although the mistake was clearly the hotel's!Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice but over priced."
Four star pricing for a two m8 three star hotel. Location near Grand Canyon ya know. Recommend you check all facilities in the area before committing. Hotel.com discount made me feel a little better about this one. Best Western Rewards and HOG memberships were worthless here! Would stay again if no other available.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Should be better"
Great location but have to pay through the nose for it. AC is barely adequate with a "placebo" thermostat on the wall that doesn't cool room. Low water pressure means toilet clogs easily. WiFi is a joke - slower than dial-up from 1997. Find a cafe nearby if you really need it. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Comfy beds. Excellent breakfast buffet […] - not continental - it's got eggs, sausage etc. Poorly rated items I mentioned shouldn't exist at 2 bills per night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good sleep over for Grand Canyon visit"
Nothing exceptional about the hotel, but good locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location was great, enjoyed shuttle bus to canyon"
Air conditioner was not working well even after maintence adjusted it. Was very disappointing for a hotel of this caliberGenuine Expedia guest review
"Lacking class but very convenient"
The property was beautifully situated for getting to the park easily. Unfortunately, the free breakfast wasn't served until 6:30 so we had to miss it in order to make it to the park for an early ranger-led hike. They were also adamant that they couldn't let us delay our check out for 30 minutes in order to be able to come back and change after our canyon […] hike. The hotel is very large and dated, with decor reminiscent of the '70s or before. There is a pretentiously expensive restaurant but also a very handy bar/grille which suited us much better after a long day's drive and a couple of hours at the canyon. The staff seemed eager to please, except for the late check out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average motel in Tusayan"
The place was an average motel. The staff was friendly. The place was a bit overpriced considering the accommodationsGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Grand Canyon"
Good location, good breakfast buffet. If traveling with kids it has bowling and arcade for family entertainment. But if you get a room in the outside buildings you will be disgusted. Carpets are filthy. Perhaps rooms in the main building are better. The food in the Bar/Grill is expensive and would only recommend the pizza.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not pick down stairs!!"
I picked this hotel because had a little better review than others.....but the room we had "two queen bed" down stairs smelled nusty....like a wet rug. Up steir may be better like a review said? I don't know. But breakfast was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stay was okay. Room was comfortable and clean although located in an out building away from main lodge. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but very bland tasting. We were there for two nites and the buffet was the same both mornings without any variation. Other hotel chains that we stayed at rotated their buffet items which would have been a good thing. […] Charge of 1.50 per nite to use room safe was ridiculous. Have never been charged for this convenience before. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient location"
I think it was a good stay. It would be nice if their internet was faster. The complimentary breakfast is the best and was the highlight of the hotel. I am satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
In the room was a really loud minibar fridge, which was very annoying at night..and the bathroom ventilation was crazy loud too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel but a little pricey"
No elevators so if you are on the 2nd floor you must drag your luggage up. Not fun. The high point was the morning breakfast buffet, it was excellent . I know it was the Grand Canyon but a little overpriced.Genuine Expedia guest review
No elevators and loud at 6am. Decent hotel rooms. Free breakfast is a feeding troff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very Clean but room needed a few repairs (HVAC not working in the room, handle on toilet was coming off, tub floor needed refinish). Breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the hotel was nice but the room was uncomfortable because of the weird design and the excessive number of big furniture pieces in the room. Breakfast was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, somewhat dirty room."
The proximity to the grand canyon was perfect for a family with a toddler who doesn't tolerate long drives. But we were disappointed in the tidiness of the room. I found either ketchup or some other spots of disgusting-ness on the bathroom floor which readily wiped up with a wet towel. The carpet had stains. There were specks of food/drink on the white […] curtains (coffee and other unrecognizable dots). The linens appeared clean but I was skeptical considering the remainder of the room. However the morning complimentary buffet was quite good and plentiful and the remainder of the premises, though dated, seemed fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I was thrilled with the customer service, distance to the Grand Canyon , and the breakfast buffet! However, I was not too happy with the bathroom situation. The water pressure was poor as was the temperature of the water. Not to mention turning on the fan in the bathroom was unbearably loud. I was also disappointed with the Wifi. It only worked perhaps […] 2 hours of the two days I stayed which means once I left the state I had a lot of unanswered emails to address. I also could not enjoy any movies on my laptop while staying due to the Wifi issue. I'd also recommend that the hotel invest in different smoke detectors. It was placed right in the middle of the sleeping area with a large green light that kept me up. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It's an ok hotel with old facilities. Room was dark and with weird smell. Breafast was great though!Genuine Expedia guest review
Upon arrival the heat in our room was not working properly. The staff was very prompt in addressing the issue. My shower the next morning was in uncomfortable, lukewarm water. it's unfortunate these two issues occurred in a brief one night stay. We would be willing to stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
When I got checked into the traditional room, the closet door was falling off and so was the air conditioning panel. The room was small and cramped. I had to pay 50 bucks for an upgrade to a better room. The first night we stayed there no one came to clean our room and all the housekeeper could say was that we were the second one that the rooms were […] not cleaned. He only brought towels and toiletries for us. We had to use a used towel for a floor mat. The breakfast was really good. They cleared the tables fast and efficiently. The hotel was way too big and so crowded that I don't think they could keep up. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"good location at grand canyon"
Location is good, very close to the south rim of grand canyon national park. Room is tidy, but it's crazy that attendant has set about cleaning the room from 9:00AM, knocked the door every 5 minutes.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was fine. The breakfast was of poor quality. The eggs were lukewarm and watery. Fruit selection was grapes and cut-up whole oranges, the waffles and pancakes were barely warm. It's not I would consider what a premier hotel would be serving.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location to the canyon, but lacks in areas."
The lobby and restaurants were nice. The bowling alley was fun. The hot tub was a joke, maybe room for three people. The carpet in the room was full of stains and dirty. The rest of the room seemed okay. Very pricey, but probably paying for the location. Expedia said a pull out couch was in the room and I paid extra for a better room, but no couch. […] Okay overall. "Situated in Annex w/o an Elevator"
Not what we bargained for. We made our reservations months in advance and arrived early, but without discussion we were assigned to the second story room in the annex that does not have any elevato They claimed theyd were full and could not move us, The room was small and noisy as a tour of europeans took up almost all of the floor. The only thing really […] good was the restaurant. We would not stay there again!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Three nights in Best Western"
We had problems with the air conditioning not cooling enough. The bed skirt was ripped, not enough towels..maid left 2 and took 4. TV was unplugged by maid service and we thought it was broken...who leaves the TV unplugged? One night we came back from a day in Grand Canyon and the door to our room was not closed. There was no coffee until 6:30 in the […] morning and the room Kerug was not functioning nor did we have enough to have been able to fill our travel mugs. However, Richard at the Conceirge desk was fantastic. The restaurant was superb and the setting was wonderful. I am disappointed in the housekeeping department but the bed was incredibly fantastic! This hotel almost had it all. Then we went to the Bellagio in Las vegas and found out what luxury really is...and for LESS money than the Best Western!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location-But the Rest Needs Much Improvement"
Great location. Easy access to the South entrance of Grand Canyon and the highway. Room was generally clean, but bathtub can use better scrubbing. Room was very noisy - because of location. From cleaning staff to landscape maintenance, the noise reverberates into the hallway. Nice that breakfast is included, but food is sub-par - more like a school […] cafeteria. Room was also dated. Bathrooms could use some refurbishment. We had dinner at the buffet room - same quality as breakfast. If we come back, we'll be going to the lodges located inside the Park. Food offerings seemed better. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not Many Choices"
We were a little disappointed when we arrived to the room. For the price we were expecting something much nicer, you are paying for the location. There are other options in the area that should be investigated before booing this hotel. There are also much nicer lodging at the Canyon itself but must be booked months in advance. The decor at the BW is […] a little outdated and needs refreshed. The fitness facility is a joke with just a few machines and no free weights. It is also rght next to the hot tube that makes it very humid and uncomfortable in the room. I will say that the complimentary breakfast is above average. Again I would look around before booking here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything's OK except the breakfast."
The best thing about this hotel is the location - it couldn't be closer to the Grand Canyon. The room was fine - clean and comfortable. But we went to see the Grand Canyon from 9-4 during the day and when we got back, our room still hadn't been cleaned. The breakfast is really gross - the pancakes, waffles, donuts and muffins had all been frozen and […] thawed so they were soggy and still cold inside. The biscuits were stale and the gravy was cold. The fitness center is too small and crowded to use. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice stay if you want to see south rim"
Very nice hotel. If you are planning on hiking or seeing the south rim this place is ideal. We had a problem with the a/c in the room not working very well but the staff promptly brought up a area fan witch cooled the room down just fine. There were some stains on the carpet, but overall it was clean. We don't have kids, but if you do this place would […] be awesome for them. "Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn Revie"
I would not select this hotel again due to the poor internet service. There is only one location (1st floor, basement; bar) that a signal is strong enough to recieve internet service, and then you can only type one word per minute due to the slow speed. I realize the park is the focus, but we are a connected society and internet is a part of our lives. […] The Holiday Inn Select's signal was just fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"bad wi-fi, cold pancakes, but OK place to stay"
like other reviewers, we found the free breakfast disappointing. Pancakes should be served hot, not cold or tepid. Internet service was very difficult. I am grateful to the staff member who used a broom to help me clean 3" of snow off my car on Sat. 4/14.Genuine Expedia guest review

[…] ..... we were placed clear at the other end of the property from our friends.. then at check out they wanted us to pay again.. and that when i asked for the manager... ..i doubt if i will use expedia again.. this is the second itme in a row that i have had issues with a reservation.. people need to know that it is very difficult to make any change to a reservation .. or cancel .. "Sloppy Housekeeping and Hotel Mgmt"
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Every day housekeeping would forget to either refill the shampoo bottles, coffee or cups. Our key had to be reprogrammed every day, otherwise the door wouldn't open, which was very annoying. Overall quality of the hotel and provided service definitely do not worth the amount of money we paid for itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bit dated, but great breakfast"
Hotel seemed a bit dated. It has separate buildings, so you need to walk outside in between them to get to the main building, where the main desk is located (also a bowling alley, arcade, and the free breakfast). Hotel is very close to the entrance to the Grand Canyon.Genuine Expedia guest review
room heater did not work, improper bulb in bathroom(heat lamp had regular bulb) stains on box spring sides, noisy hallway(near entrance)Genuine Expedia guest review
"a bit disappointed"
I booked two beds, but when I arrived they only had a room with one king size. Had to sleep on cot. Didn't get much sleep. The worse part is that they charged me some additional for the cot, even after I pointed out that my original booking was for two beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No changing area for hot tub"
There are no locker rooms or even bathrooms near the hot tub. Couldn't find the sauna either. Didn't get to use the hot tub because I didn't want to walk all through the hotel in my bathing suit. Not satisfactory.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
