Wi-fi connectivity was erratic. No hot water upon arrival due to a boiler malfunction. Tub had been repainted and was peeling badly. The staff were friendly and helpful, but at least one desk clerk was not familiar with the surrounding area for restaurants, etc. All in all, this hotel has seen better days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just a sufficient hotel"
This hotel could be great but sadly needs work. The upsides are: clean great bed, clean bathroom, helpful front desk staff, room size and location. Downsides are: filthy stained sofa cushions on the sofa bed (we didn't open the bed so don't know how that was), a panel in the ceiling above the master bed that had toilet paper stuffed in the screw holes […] (so we looked at it every time we got in bed), no toilet paper when we arrived - which they quickly remedied, however no roll holders so we had to set the toilet paper on the back of the toilet. The next night, after being out all day, we came back to find that they had taken one of our rolls of toilet paper so we were down to one (fortunately we were okay with that but it was weird and still no roll holders) and the maid service was only okay. The room needs to be updated, new carpet, clean the walls.... I gave them a three because the bed was clean and comfortable and the staff very nice. We will try another hotel in the area next time. Clean, great value. Other guests were noisy and the shower head was poor. No other complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was good and clean. Bathroom needed a little work and was out dated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I had family business to take care of and are not familiar with the area. Thankfully the hotel was conveniently located to the places we needed to get to. The room was clean, but musty smelling and the carpet felt wet. One night there was a wedding reception where the doors were left open and it was extremely noisy/loud. It made it very […] difficult to enjoy the room, especially when you have to sign that you will not have "parties" in your own room. The mattress needed to be replaced as it felt very broken down and uncomfortable. I think this could be a beautiful location and facility if the proper care was made to keep it in top shape. "Ok if you are only staying for the weekend"
The hotel's curb appeal is fine but the rooms weren't the best it had a sleep number mattress but the control did not work the bathroom looked very dated and seemed dirty. Housekeeping forgot to take my trash out, other minor details but since we did not spent much time in the room it was ok the elevators smelled pretty badGenuine Expedia guest review

"Spacious hotel, but lot of wear and tear."
Drive to this hotel from city was tiring because of traffic. Very spacious place for the price, but carpet had numerous large stains. Bed was fine for 2 small kids and us. Dint even use the sofa bed. Only one adjacent restaurant, so had to drive out 3 mies to get some dinner. Enjoyed the pool with kids. Breakfast was good, but not complementary.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to family events"
Room was to have been a "renovated room"...when will they shampoo the carpet; finish hanging the drapes; repair the caulking around the tub? Toilet had VERY OBVIOUSLY not been cleaned upon our check-in; numbers bed collapsed; pressed housekeeping button on bedroom phone and woke a guest. Staff friendly, bed got fixed, we hung the drape, used the living […] room phone. Disappointing. We love the location, the size of the room, but some basic maintenance needs to be done routinely. Hotel very convenient for our needs, but may not return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful, but . . . Our room was not ready when we tried to check in at 4:30. We booked a garden view room, but looked out on a back parking lot filled with maintenance equipment. There were four of us, but towels for only three. Went directly to housekeeping as I had heard people complaining when I checked in that […] they had requested towels in the morning, but still didn't have them at 4:30 in the afternoon. It seemed maybe they didn't have enough. Had to go to housekeeping again to get pillows for the pull out bed. Bathtub was cheap and the plastic enamel was peeling in places. Wifi worked VERY intermittently. Frustrating! Hotel seems to cater to groups of guests who we found smoking and spitting (!) every morning in front of the hotel. Has the potential to be a nice place, but needs to make improvements. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Off ramp from freeway 10."
The carpet outside the bathroom is very wet, on the 1st night stay, it was short of some towels, on the 2nd night stay, My wife and I came back late night and both room keys could not open the door, called the hotel phone number using my cell and had to wait outside the room for about 15 minutes before the service man showed up, then found out there […] wasn't any towels at all in the bathroom, no bath towel, no floor towel, no medium towel, no small towel, not even one, I called the guests service phone but no one answered, called the front desk number and also got no answer, finally I had to call the hotel phone number and got a hold with it, and they sent someone over with a full set of towels, but these towels looked old and wore out to very thin, not comfortable to use at all. I have been staying in this hotel many times, and I think the quality Of this hotel is going downhill especially after changing its name from Radison to Parkhill or something. Very disappointed. "Where are the towels?"
The hotel itself is a little run down, but clean. The kids loved the pool. My biggest problem was getting towels. When we got there, there were only a few bath towels and nothing else. It took them several days to get us some towels. We wanted the sheets changed on the fold out couch, and they forgot the fitted sheet. It just seems like like they didn't […] make sure everything ready and complete. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"it's ok, under renovation"
I asked for extra blankets and pillows, they said they would bring them but did not. Called them again and they said they would but still forgot. Sofa bed was unusable because it was uncomfortable when laying on it. King bed was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"On the road again"
The phrase you get what you pay for definitely applies to this hotel...I personally think maybe 10 ~15 years ago this place would be close to the top but now a little rundown..Elevator slow and outdated carpet in room dirty nothing major i might add.. Great for a weekendGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Away from Los Angeles"
Its a little away from Los Angeles, but a great place to stay since all LA hotels were sold out over the long weekend. And on Hotels.com, a 1 bedroom suite for less than half the hotel price. Highly recommended if you don't the long drive to LA.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice, clean, and comfortable room. Staff was helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.Genuine Expedia guest review
I wouldn't really recommend this place. The lobby is quite deceiving. It looks so nice and the garden is pretty and feels a little like Hawaii, BUT the rooms are a little gross. We stayed in the rennovated rooms and got a glimpse of the non-rennovated room and it was quite a difference. The beds squeek and the pull-out bed sucks. The pull-out bed mattress […] was super thin and the corners didn't even have springs to support it. So if you sat down on the corner of the pull-out bed, you would fall through. The carpet is DISGUSTING! You can tell they don't shampoo the carpet. My nephews ran around in the rooms barefoot and they ended up with nasty black feet. The bathrooms looked nice, but the tub tiles needed some recaulking. The towels were kind of worn out like very think and with edges coming off. They totally need to new towels for bath and floor. AND OMG! We went out for the day and came back with one of our bedroom doors open. The cleaning staff did not shut the door. Luckily, nothing was taken from the room. It's just quite distrurbing. The good thing is the location. It was really convenient to go to a lot of the place we were there for. In addition, the pool is open late until 10PM, so that was nice. The lobby staff were really nice and check-out was quick and easy. They should have in-room convenient check-out so people can check-out from their TV and leave the rooms keys in the room and leave from there. Overall, the stay was ok but the hotel really needs some TLC. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I liked the hotel and the staff. The pool was excellent. My problem was with the beds they were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. They were sleep number beds with broken controllers.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good overnight rest stop"
The hotel was a convenient rest stop for a road trip. The bellman was nowhere to be found so we ported our own bags to the room while the front desk clerks smirked and chuckled at us. The breakfast buffet only accepted cash, no cards.Genuine Expedia guest review

"My stay in Park Inn"
Its was a nice place; a bit out dated but nice overall. What was very pleasing is the layout of the rooms, you walk into a living room area as you walk futher there is the bedroom. Kept my son [sofa bed] in the living space room and the wifey and I in the bedroom. My wife complain to the staff about the stiffness of the bed and the front desk was […] nice to change our rooms twice. The freeway heading to covina from los angeles during rush hour is the worst. So try to avoid by all means; stayed at the hotel for 9 days so we had a chance to venture around the local stores. 15 minutes west there's alot of places to eat, shop and shop. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Disneyland and 40 minutes from the beachs [Santa monica/ Venice]. After the fifth day of eating out we decide we no longer wanted to dine out so we went groceries shopping there's a Food 4 Less by the Ikea store, theres a mini frig avaliable in the hotel room for your food which was great and microwave also. The staff is very nice - the oriental guy in at the front desk - kool person. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"ok for short stay"
The hotel is quite old, it needs remodelling. I was given a regular room but it looks nasty, carpet was dingy and lots of stains. So I called front desk to change my room. Bonnie, front desk associate, transferred me to a bigger room which they called the "executive room" but other than the size of the room, it was nothing special.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Reasonable price but needs TLC"
We had a one bedroom suite. It was spacious and comfortable. However, we looked at five rooms before picking one with minimal stains on the carpet. Most of the others had large, sticky-looking stains in the kitchen/living area. The hotel has obviously had some deferred maintenance. The elevator nearest our room was out of order all four days we were […] there, yet the reception staff initially directed us to it. The hotel is also very close to the San Bernardino freeway, with a fair amount of highway noise on that side (though nothing that disturbed sleep). There has been some recent, tasteful renovation of the rooms, but with odd oversights. For example, there are no towel racks in the bathroom (or anywhere), so doorknobs had to do for drying. The showerhead needs to be pointed slightly away from the shower curtain or cascades of water blow right through the two thin layers and leave the floor flooded. The adjacent steakhouse was fine for drinks and appetizers; we didn't have a full dinner there. The pool area is pretty clean and attractive. Service in general was good. For the price, this was a good option for us, but not somewhere we'd make a special point of returning to. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Room smelt musty, no wash clothes either night, four lamps one light bulb, no towels at the pool nor spa. Place used to be great but now seems to be on the downturn on it,s way to becoming a " has was".Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The bathroom shower leaked water to the floor due to the shower curtain being too thin. Happened every time I took a shower. The tv was very outdated. Still using tube tv. The living area in the front room was a flat screen. The reception was bad on cable tv. The breakfast was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed our stay, but room needed attention."
Enjoyed the spacious 2 room accommodation. Refrigerator, microwave and sitting area included. Not the cleanest because of dirty carpets, stained curtains and mold spots in shower. TV in living area did not work so at my request they comped us with a breakfast buffet for 2 of our 3 nights stay. Would not have wanted to pay $9 for the breakfast buffet, […] however. Breakfast should have been included in room stay. Nothing special. Never used housekeeping. Although we were in a non-smoking area, there were many guests hanging around outside and on the balcony smoking. The grounds looked very nice and the lobby is clean and attractive. Staff was very nice and courteous. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The outside of the hotel does have character, so it's nice that it wasn't just a cookie cutter box. When you go into the lobby, it's definitely shabby and could use a makeover. The rooms itself, at first glance look fairly clean and fresh. The furniture and beds look very clean, and I guess those are what matter most? Upon closer inspection, the carpets […] have odd stains, the fridge works but the knobs are broken, and the whole bathroom could use a really really really good bleaching and scrub. I never took my shoes off while walking around because of all of the questionable stains. The windows also could do well to be double paned because I could hear all of the workers getting off work in the parking alley behind my room as well as the people in the pool in front of my room. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience and it did have a lot of space. I was staying here to take a test...otherwise I don't know if I'd stay here on a vacation or anything. "Not impressed this time."
Have stayed at this hotel over 10 times in the last 23 years. We noticed work being done to half of the hotel over last 2 years. This trip we got one of the rooms on the side I thought was updated, but found bathroom sink and bathtub faucets leaking, more than drips. Room needed towels, toilet paper and kleenex. Called to report this. Maid came with […] supplies for room. Handyman came to fix leaks.. Sink fixed, but tub faucet was so tight we could not turn the dial to turn water on. Called desk to explain that now I was not able to turn bathtub faucet on. In end, we were given new room as tub could not be fixed. Had to repack and move everything. Given breakfast vouchers, so OK. In this room we found the robe hook in bathroom was installed upside down, so could not use it and no place to hang a towel or clothes. We were not impressed with our stay this time and felt things should have been a lot better. All tubs in all rooms we have had look like they have seen better days and tile on wall is patched and has grout smeared over tile. All showers leak on floors, so you need a towel just to mop up the water on bathroom floor. Some mini Fridges don't have dial to adjust temp, so items freeze when not in freezer. Management needs to review each room and make appropriate repairs and maintenance. Nice property, but not being kept up. Very sad. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Hotel check in was quick, good size room with microwave, coffee maker with tea.Genuine Expedia guest review
Obviously the hotel is going through renovations, and while my room was very nice, and been updated, the overall ambiance of the hotel left a lot to be desired. I'm a single woman, traveling alone on business, and while the hotel was virtually empty, they put me in a room in the back next to the laundry facility and the boiler room, next door to a room […] that had 6 people in it; just hanging out. After the lights went out twice, I asked to be moved (remember the hotel was empty), and told NO, twice, as this was the room I was assigned through HOTELS.com. I'm crossing this one off my list, and you should too. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location. We had a little trouble with our room upon arrival. Heater did not work and after maintenance working on it several times we had to change rooms. "Average stay... Will not come again"

"Too much noise!"
We stayed at the 2nd floor. Before we checked in, I already knew the hotel is not new/updated, but the room we had kept having noise from the ceiling. It's either the heater or the water system, and it's very annoying. Also, when people are dragging luggage outside the room, you can clearly hear it and it even wakes you up during the night. This is […] the biggest problem of this hotel! They really need to improve this part otherwise I won't go there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent room, Horrible beds"
For the most part the room was good and the layout was perfect for the two couples and two children. The beds however were the most uncomfortable ever! We thought sleep number beds would be a nice feature but they were either a cheap version or broken. Didn't get much sleep at all. Also used on of the hotel restrooms and found bark all over one of the […] stalls. Looked like that had been there a while. Not very appealing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for the money"
The pool area was very nice, but could be very loud in the evening when large groups were swimming. The hotel is showing its age, but is still a good value for the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great staff, rundown building."
This hotel needs some serious repair work and updating. It was clean, unless you looked behind the nightstand. The paint is peeling off the outside, the tub has been recaulked so many times it doesn't really matter anymore, there was a huge gap under the door to the room which we had to block with towels, the first room we were in did not have working […] phones and don't even get me started on the "excercise room". Air Conditioning broken two evenings with temps over 100 in the area, awful sleeping. Most part room clean, but carpet was dirty. Older building, needs a facelift. New exterior paint and pool area definitely needs some TLC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pool was one of the reasons for staying here and it was closed off most of the time; of the four days we stayed we only used it once.
