"Great for the money"

"Best Bed I Ever Slept In!"
We were only there for 2 nights but the room was excellent! Very clean and the beds were absolutely wonderful. Fridge, microwave and safe in the room. "Better in groups"
They offer deals to those staying, but they are packaged deals such as buy an entree get an entree free. But when staying by yourself, the food and drinks were overpriced and could not really take advantage of the coupons they offered. Room was comfortable and spacious, but noisey both day and night. Great place for me. It was convenient to everything I needed. The only complaint I had was that the elevator smelled of burning oil like maybe the motor was burning out. The room was very good. Large, looked newish and clean. I looked at other places in town and you get more value for the money. "Deadwood SD hotel/casino"
It has the best casino in Deadwood SD. The hotel is a 4.5 and I believe they were taken over by a large chain and adding to the building. They are located a couple of blocks from the main part of town but that is not a problem because it is a short walk into town and free transportation is available. Not enough parking. Even the valet underground parking garage was full and we had to park at the neighboring parking lot and walk. The rooms were huge, clean, and very nice. Similar to upscale hotels in other cities I've been in but a great price when booked ahead online. Super comfortable beds. No swimming pool till 2013 which was sad for my kids but […] they give out free passes to the Deadwood rec center to swim there. Breakfast buffet was pretty good...nothing amazing for $14 per person but the hotel gave us buy 1 get 1 free passes and my kids (2 & 4yrs old) ate for free so it ended up not being that expensive. Overall the hotel was very comfortable and the restaurant had a good selection. It was nice to have the gaming area be smoke free. Missed having a pool for the kids to blow off steam. There is very little self parking so you have to use the valet. It is not located in the downtown area so there is a bit of a walk to get to the other hotels/restaurants. The fire alarm went off at 5 am. I jumped out of bed and got half dress and on my way to the door it turned out to be a false alarm. There was no getting back to sleep after being woken like that. None of the staff seemed to care. Most hotels would give you a noise complaint credit or something on your room but I have been completely ignored by the […] manager.
