"Meh for the price"
The hotel was an old place with a lot of character and was clean and comfortable, but didn't seem quite on par with its price. I stayed in the older part of the hotel. There is an amazing level of floor noise from the room above you which I found disturbing. I think the term 'resort' is a bit of a stretch--it is a hotel on the water, with a pool, a […] bar, a dining room, and some available rentals (kayaks, bikes) but if you're lookign for a full service resort this isn't the place for you. "Nice location but frayed round the edges"
We stayed in the main hotel building and it had seen better days. First thing was a smell of old cooked food through all the corridors. Old fashioned and worn carpets did not give a good first impression. Our room was ok but looked drab. The lighting in the sitting area was so poor you could not read. "stilvoll eingerichtet aber laut"
