There was a stink bug on the wall when we walked in, and the heat didn't work. The place was just dirty in general. The staff wasn't friendly at all, and the "breakfast" was donuts. I guess you get what you pay for.

Smallest room I've stayed in. Beds clean. Handicapped accessible bathroom: stool levelled w/plastic doodads, seat sl. cracked. Came in about 6am. Needed to sleep for a few hours before driving 4 more hours. She asked me sarcastically you are checking in NOW? I said Yes I have my resv thru Hotels.com. It took her 15 minutes to get me checked in. Unacceptable.

You get what you pay for so I wasn't shocked when I opened the door to the room. I don't think the room had been rented in a while. The stale cigarette smoke (in a non-smoking room# smell was overwhelming. There was patches in the wall that needed painting, the chairs were torn and/or stained. The shower curtain was just that a curtain with no liner. […] The sink area had a wooden stand #like you'd see at a rustic camp) to put your cosmetics. Breakfast was coffee, juice & doughnuts. The room was not clean, the furniture was in need of being replace, there were burn marks from cigarettes on the tables and even the bath tub, the trash can appeared as if someone had thrown up in it and no one had bothered to clean it.

I usually check reviews before booking a hotel. Since I was pressed for time prior to this stay and have had very good experiences with Knights Inn's in Michigan, I just went and booked this one. What a mistake! Nasty & sticky furniture, room was filthy in the "harder to reach" corners, hole smashed in in the wall, you could see the daylight come through […] the front door. The room was adequete for a low rate motel. First, the neighbor decided to set his chair outside his door and talk on his phone for a few hours until nearly 10:30pm. Just when I thought he was done, he started up again. It was very hot out so why he didn't just go inside is a mystery. The next issue was the roofers starting at 7:45am!! Yes, they were […] working on the opposite side of the building from my room but they also walked on top of my room to get to their destination. I was also woken up at 7:35am by some numbskull who must have been doing wake-up calls by pounding on the doors. I didn't ask for a wakeup call so why did they do it to me?!! Phone calls are better and with my own alarm clock I didn't need one. I got virtually no sleep until about 3am then the roofers started at 7:45am. OMG! Next time I am staying at the Hampton Inn. Well. It was cheaper. But still more than 60 Bucks. The room smelled old and was very weary. Not that much of a positive experience. Loud through the neighboring rooms and people/children running forth and back. Have slept worse than that, but actually mostly better.

We booked this motel as an overnight stop on our way to Myrtle Beach. I was impressed when checking in at the front desk, the clerk was very pleasant & had my key & paperwork all ready, he then directed us to the room. It all went down hill from there. We were assigned room 201. The room smelled musty, the walls were paper thin, the bathroom had little […] bugs flying around, the floor to the bathroom felt like it was going to fall thru, the beds felt like springs. Had it not been after 11 pm & we were leaving @ 7 a.m. I would have changed rooms & possibly hotels. When we arrived we called to the office to advise that the smoke detector was constantly beeping and would bother us, we also informed them that there was a dirty wet face cloth on the floor behind the washroom door. The manager on duty came to change the battery and we informed him then that the toilet seat was not secure. He did something to tighten […] the toilet seat as well. When he was gone we discovered the old battery left on top of the television and he did nothing about the face cloth. Later we discovered that there was only 2 towels and 1 face cloth for the 4 of us in the room. When we phoned over to ask for more we were told that there were no more face cloths available and that we could have more towels if we walked over to the other side of the hotel, after 10:30 at night ( 4 women in the party) or we would have to wait for the shift change in about an hour. In the morning the breakfast consisted of donuts and coffee, no bagles, muffins, fresh fruit etc. There was also no milk available for tea or coffee ( there was only powdered creamer) The beds were clean and comfortable. I booked a room with 2 full beds, there was 1. Above the bed hung a picture covered in mold. One of the chairs upholstry was completly ripped in two. One of the bedside light fixtures had no light bulb. Fortunately, I didn't detect any bed bugs. Would not recommend this hotel to others.

Do yourself and your family a favor and spend a couple bucks more on a decent hotel. This place SMELLED of smoke even though we had booked a NON-smoking room and there was a non-smoking sign on the door. The room was NOT vacuumed and the bathroom door had fist sized holes in it. The reason we had booked this hotel was because of the location conveniently […] being off the highway and halfway point of our total trip, we just wanted a place to sleep. Motel is older and age shows. Floors are sagging, electrical not kept up (outlets wouldn't hold a plug). Sheets were torn, Outlets overloaded with devices. Ice machine did not work (other machine at far end of motel. Over priced for value.

The floors were soft... could feel it move everywhere.. thought we might actually fall through by the sink. The breakfast the was included was coffee and donuts.... but the donuts were good. It's run down and needs a paint job. But didnt cost a lot, so we got what we paid for I guess.
