We were looking for a hotel to get out of the heat after camping. The indoor pool was our first stop and a perfect way to recover from the sun. Then, we got to our room to take a nap before the evening's festivities. One of the best hotels stays ever! However, my only complaint would be the hotel cleaning staff. I stayed two nights (Friday & Saturday) and both days the cleaning staff knocked on my room door at 8:30am. Way TOO EARLY for a weekend getaway!

Our room was cleaned the next day but they did not replenish the coffee or give us clean glasses or coffee mugs. Otherwise everything else was perfect and the food was very good at the resturant.

Great stay! Very clean hotel, in and out of rooms! Staff super friendly- every person we came across greeted us very pleasantly. Room very spacious, especially bathroom, with awesome jetted tub. Very quiet. Beautiful location right on lake, with balcony and rocking chairs-very relaxing. Will definitely come back and will refer others!!

I was upset to learn that Lake Lawn Resort had closed last December. I had been coming to Lake Lawn twice a year for the previous four years. However, this summer I got an email from them indicating that they were back in business. I have always liked this resort because of Delavan Lake and it being a short distance from Lake Geneva. This area is a […] gem in Wisconsin. The resort had started to come into disrepair slightly but I never thought about it too much Little did I know of their deep financial problems. Well, I am happy to report that Lake Lawn is back. The service is excellent, the rooms clean and spacious, all new carpet throughout and it appears that there is new wall paper in the halls and all moldings freshly painted. All of those who were let go a year ago were offered employment. Their golf course even seems nicer than ever. If you have never been there you should go. Rates are very reasonable. I was more than satisfied with the new look but with the whole experience. The new owners have a great deal to do with this. I understand that the owner lives on site and walks the halls, visits the pools and restaurants. This was not the case in previous years where investors owned it and lived in another city. Early in Lake Lawn history, the owner lived in a house on the property and was maticulous about service and cleanliness. The new owners are following the same method and it shows. Read more

Stopped for an overnight stay after a day in Lake Geneva. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and it was fine for what we needed. I liked the renovations, but they don't have fitted sheets. What that means is the bottom bed sheet comes off and you sleep on the same mattress as every other person....gross. The rest was nice enough and overall clean

The grounds and golf course were meticulous. The rooms were over the top with granite and natuaral stone tile work. Great view of the lake and plenty of space for playing in the courtyard. Highly recommend Lake Lawn! Jon K.

Loved the rooms! Super comfortable and updated for 3 of us girls for weekend away. The price is right too but restaurants subpar as was bar service at pool bar. Far from Lake Geneva but worth it for price. Good place for families with kids.

We have been going to Lake Lawn for the past 15 years. It is a very relaxing time. We get about 10 rooms for the family and is like Christmas early. We hope that the rumors are not true that they will be closing soon.

Last time we stayed there (maybe 5 years or more ago) we said we'd never go back because we were insulted by the attitudes of the hotel staff. Not at all nice and downright rude. Recently found a great deal for rooms at Lake Lawn and decided to try one more time. What a pleasant surprise we experienced! Everyone and everything was most accommodating […] and comfortable. The hotel has been totally updated and is definitely a place we will return to in the future. Only one minor annoyance and that was the noise from the heating unit in the room. The resort tried unsuccessfully to market itself as a vacation condo. All rooms are clean but some are decorated from the 1970's while others are rennovated. We came to Lake Lawn Lodge expecting the worst room in the house, and were surprised to be placed in a lovely, newly renovated room with a lake view. Room was very nice, and bath was way beyond expectations. Our only complaints were that housekeeping couldn't get the coffee replacement in the room correct, and at our only dinner on-site were were constantly […] reminded by the wait staff about how busy they were(in the restaurant that particular night). The hotel itself was pretty empty due to the mid-week stay. I came with very low expectations due to the very low rate we paid. My cousin and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The room was very nice and cozy. The bathroom was huge and could have used some of that space to expand the vanity.
