"Small beds!"
The full-size beds are too small for families...need queen size options! Also, got blasted with a terrible shot of freon when I opened the fridge in the room. Had to switch rooms. It's an okay place to stay for the price, but we won't be going there anymore.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Would Stay Here Again"
The room was nice and clean, bed was very confortable and it was nice to be given several soft and firm pillows. It was also nice to have a refridgerator to store my soda for the next day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The only downsides were that the room was a bit noisy, as the ice machine was outside my door and and I-84 […] was outside the window, and the configuration of the room was such that the desk chair needed to be moved away from the desk and end of bed in order to be able to move from one side of the room to the other. "Convenient"
Nearly the closest hotel to UConn, this hotel filled our needs for a quick, close overnight stay. Everyone was friendly, and the desk was generous with late checkout. The person staffing the breakfast buffet was helpful with specific needs. "Wayne was great"
We knew we would be arriving late and phoned the Holiday Inn to be sure our reservations would be held. Wayne was most cooperative. We did not arrive until after 10:00 PM and he was extremely pleasant in welcoming us. My wife likes milk in her morning coffee and he even gave us a container to take to the room. "Easy Off Easy On"
84 drops you off right at this Holiday Inn Express. Doesn't get any easier than that. We've stayed here a few years back while traveling through the area and it's obvious they have renovated the baths and rooms. Rooms are big and bath is first rate. Complimentary breakfast is surprisingly good and eliminated the need to find a place to eat before we […] headed out. Had a great nights sleep once the kids on the second floor stopped playing "Bowling for Dollars" and the door slamming up and down the hall. "Bad Reason to be at a good hotel"
Unfortunately we were there for a wake and funeral but the hotel was great.Clean comfy rooms and plenty in the area if we were there for pleasure. As it turns out the family had a dinner set up for us at the hotel and they allowed us to use their breakfast room until midnite or so. "Very nice but smokey"
Great rooms, great full breakfast, coffee at all hours, nice employees. The workout room was much appreciated but I couldn't figure out the stair step machine. We were there when there was a lot of snow on the ground. It snowed our fist night there but they quickly had the parking lot cleared. I was worried about being cold at night but the heater worked […] great. Our only complaint is the cigarette smoke that is prominent in the evenings and mornings. The door jams are not very snug so just putting a towel across the door on the floor didn't help. Maybe a simple door gasket on all doors would help? We would stay here again though. The hotel halls and lobby were not clean. There were beer bottles along the hall way on the second floor. The carpeting looked like it had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The room was ok.
