"Would Stay Here Again"
The room was nice and clean, bed was very confortable and it was nice to be given several soft and firm pillows. It was also nice to have a refridgerator to store my soda for the next day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The only downsides were that the room was a bit noisy, as the ice machine was outside my door and and I-84 […] was outside the window, and the configuration of the room was such that the desk chair needed to be moved away from the desk and end of bed in order to be able to move from one side of the room to the other. "Convenient"
Nearly the closest hotel to UConn, this hotel filled our needs for a quick, close overnight stay. Everyone was friendly, and the desk was generous with late checkout. The person staffing the breakfast buffet was helpful with specific needs. We were looking for reasonably-priced accommodations, and were satisfied with out three-night stay. The property is well-maintained, the room was as ordered and clean. The only complaint I might have had -- and I didn't bring this to the staff's attention -- is that the heating/cooling unit was quite noisy. Again: nothing fancy, and a reasonable value. "Very nice but smokey"
Great rooms, great full breakfast, coffee at all hours, nice employees. The workout room was much appreciated but I couldn't figure out the stair step machine. We were there when there was a lot of snow on the ground. It snowed our fist night there but they quickly had the parking lot cleared. I was worried about being cold at night but the heater worked […] great. Our only complaint is the cigarette smoke that is prominent in the evenings and mornings. The door jams are not very snug so just putting a towel across the door on the floor didn't help. Maybe a simple door gasket on all doors would help? We would stay here again though. "It served it's purpose."
The hotel was fine for what we intended, which was an overnight stay on a budget. It was clean and nice. Wasn't impressed with surrounding area, though. No pool, so would be not suitable for longer stay for those with kids.Genuine Expedia guest review
