    When I checked in at the Hotel the clerk asked me for my driving license as a form of identification, when I gave it to him he made a photo copy of my... license without asking my permission, I asked him why he done it and he rplied it was Hotel policy. Upon checking out the next day I asked fr the copy of my license to be returned to me, the clerk flat out refused my request and was very argumentive, I asked to see the manager at which time the clerk went into the back office, he returned after a short period of time and got me to sign a piece of paper to say they had returned my license to me. I was very concerned that the hotel has this policy, it is a big security issue of mine who has access to my private information and what happens to it under the circumstances I ran into at your Hotel.     When I walked into the Hotel, it looks that I am in 1950, nothing has changed everything is falling apart, I had aplan to stay longer but I moved to another hotel after 1 night & they charge the room rent of a 4 star hotel

    OK I guess. Overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Old and run down. Food from restaurant is terrible. Like actually nauseating. No internet in the rooms and was unable to ever connected despite trying to pay for it. The free internet in the lobby is really slow so it was useless. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

    The hotel manager came to my room with an attitude he said that my cigarette smoking was too heavy to stop smoking I also had some friends visit me and he called my room phone saying that there was ALOT of traffic on his floor and it needed to stop .     Seedy hotel in seedy area. Old and not well kept. Not a coffee maker and not a bottle of water. Not a vending machine on the floor. Threadbare towels which did not smell fresh. Lumpy uncomfortable bed with old worn sheet and blanket. Very little for a lot of money.

    The tv remote didn't work, I have asthma and the room smelled like smoke really bad, and I asked for my room not to be disturb for house cleaning(hanging tag on door) and they cleaned my room anyways.Will never stay there again.

    I came to this place not expecting much, and hot much less than I ever imagined. The staff was rude and annoying. Despite having the do not disturb sign on my door, the maid still knocked on my door, and once just opened the door without warning. When I asked her if she saw the sign she proceeded to argue with me that she needed to service the room. […] (i had only stayed 2 nights, this was the morning after the first night) after our argument she told me she would have to speak with the manager. I never heard from her again. The floor was dirty and had burn holes in the carpet. After my shower in the multishaded bath tub, I was given a choice between a towel with a large hole, and a towel with a large stain. The bed was lopsided and uncomfortable, and I woke up several times throughout the night about to fall off of it. The night club down stairs was loud until around 4am shaking the floors and Windows (which I had to leave open because the heat was stuck on full blast) making it impossible to sleep. I tried calling the front desk in the middle if the night to complain, but my phone did not work. Stay away from this place. You can stay at far better places close to Manhattan for just about the same price. Read more

    Had some sleep because I was exhausted. Lots of noise outside. If you could only clean all covers and put some little things like toothpaste shower cap. How about a free airport shuttle. Otherwise it served the purpose but too expensive for the type of service offered!!

    THE LOCATION: Can't get any better to/from LGA. It's about 10 mins away; less than fifteen bucks by cab. Across the street looked like a strip joint. Another block away, on Broadway, are restaurants, mostly Chinese & Thai food. Some are open late or 24 hours. THE FACILITY: Needs to be renovated. Everything is old, low maintenance, dated and pieced together […] (patio furniture in the lobby, very divey restaurant/bar). It may be kept relatively clean, but I couldn't tell because of how worn out everything is. It's almost like a 3rd world country "hotel". AMENITIES: The room was a little bit better. But, no ironing board, no in-room internet/Wi-Fi (only in the lobby), no coffee maker (only in the lobby). There is a mini-fridge. The bed - decent, clean - but, it's a full size, not queen. Free pick-up from LGA, which can take super forever. Ten bucks for their shuttle to LGA, which is run very unorganized. SERVICE/STAFF: There was no acknowledgment when I first walked up to the front desk to check-in. The staff was finishing up shuffling paperwork before even looking at me. They did not inspire confidence should something not go right. Nothing went wrong with my stay so I don't have a fair assessment of their service level being tested. They are very casual & non-chalant. Their conversations with each other include profanity broadcasted to everyone in the same room (lobby). Evident there is no service training for the staff.     When I can in the person at the counter asked about my flight. I jokingly commented that it was not much of a flight because I was staying locally. He ignored me gave me no eye contact quickly gave me my key. He did not offer any information about parking or any information about the hotel in general. The hallway was smelled musty and their big hanging air freshener machine was out of air freshener. The room was moderately clean, but everything was outdated, rusty, smelled musty or like mildew. We checked the mattresses for bedbugs, like we always do, and was surprised (because of the condition of everything else in the room) to find that the mattresses and sheets were super clean! They had no iron or ironing board in the room and we had to request one. They gave us a mini one and small iron.     This place was scary. A true fleabag. Room was dirty, bedspread looked like it was from the 60's and the air conditioning was shut off in the autumn even though it was still warm outside. Surrounding area is very desolate and scary at night. The lobby looked like exactly what you would expect in a fleabag hotel. Run away from this place!

The report, though, is somewhat harsh considering that the hotel has accommodated over 60,000 new arrivals this year and maintain a 3.5 Star Guest Satisfaction Rating on this website. Our Lobby has been recently renovated and features Free-to-Guest private Internet workstations, early morning coffee pantry and community table for wireless internet users. Likewise, the local neighborhood is a middle class residential/commercial mix with 3 schools, 2 shopping centers and an enormous variety of restaurants all within a short walking distance.
