    Looking for convenient access to Big Apple attractions, without the Manhattan hotel sticker shock?     The Queens Center Mall, anchored by Macy’s and J.C. Penney, is less than a mile away. And you’ll be just 3 miles from Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, and Arthur Ashe Stadium, the main venue for the U.S. Open tennis championships. A quick subway ride will also take you to some of Queens' best-known ethnic neighborhoods: Grab a Greek gyro in Astoria, or enjoy a pint of your favorite Irish beer in Woodside. Astoria is also home to the Museum of the Moving Image, celebrating the art and history of film and television.

    There were Molds behind the curtain. Night club was so noisy. Even through I was on 3rd floor, I can hear music until 3 am. Complimentary coffee was tasted like urine. My bed was making noise every move. Room Heater was making noise all night long.

    Located in a sketchy neighborhood. On a main street with a bar directly across the street. Heard traffic all night and then at 4:30am heard commotion from bar. No shuttle service offered, they charge $10 pp for shuttle to airport.

    This hotel was small and filthy. Not only will I never stay here again but I will never use Hotels.com for allowing to book a room at the dive.     The hotel manager came to my room with an attitude he said that my cigarette smoking was too heavy to stop smoking I also had some friends visit me and he called my room phone saying that there was ALOT of traffic on his floor and it needed to stop .     The tv remote didn't work, I have asthma and the room smelled like smoke really bad, and I asked for my room not to be disturb for house cleaning(hanging tag on door) and they cleaned my room anyways.Will never stay there again.

    I came to this place not expecting much, and hot much less than I ever imagined. The staff was rude and annoying. Despite having the do not disturb sign on my door, the maid still knocked on my door, and once just opened the door without warning. When I asked her if she saw the sign she proceeded to argue with me that she needed to service the room. […] (i had only stayed 2 nights, this was the morning after the first night) after our argument she told me she would have to speak with the manager. I never heard from her again. The floor was dirty and had burn holes in the carpet. After my shower in the multishaded bath tub, I was given a choice between a towel with a large hole, and a towel with a large stain. The bed was lopsided and uncomfortable, and I woke up several times throughout the night about to fall off of it. The night club down stairs was loud until around 4am shaking the floors and Windows (which I had to leave open because the heat was stuck on full blast) making it impossible to sleep. I tried calling the front desk in the middle if the night to complain, but my phone did not work. Stay away from this place. You can stay at far better places close to Manhattan for just about the same price. Read more

    I've stayed more than 180 nights in hotels in 2012. I booked last minute and selected this hotel due to the proximity to LaGuardia airport as well as the 3 star rating. When searching hotels.com by proximity to LGA, it says the hotel is 2.8 miles from LGA - rather it's 5 miles and in rush hour traffic, those extra miles can add 15-30 minutes to the […] commute. The hotel description is a bit misleading - buried in the details is that if you need a shuttle TO the airport, you will have to pay - it is NOT complimentary. About the room itself? It smelled bad, everything you touched felt grimy. The comforter and sheets has stains and just looked unclean. it was an unusually warm evening and the hotel had turned off air conditioning - so there was no airflow in the room. The toilet leaked. Wifi was available, for an extra charge, and an extra charge per device. We complained to the front desk and were moved to a larger room. This room had no wifi and still felt unclean, but did not smell. I ended up sleeping fully clothed on top of the sheets so that i wouldn't catch some disease. i burned the clothes thereafter. The hotel has a restaraunt on site but the food looked inedible. It's located in a depressed and very busy part of Queens. In summary, I would avoid this hotel. I think the ratings are inflated for the condition of the hotel. Read more

    For the price i believe this Hotel was never worth it. I booked this Hotel partially because it was advertised with High Speed Internet. I Quote: (Room Type: Queen bed ,free parking, free high speed internet.) There was no internet anywhere near the room. Never stay again that for sure. The attached restaurant was ok.

    The hotel smells like an ashtray. It hasn't been updated since the 1970s and the staff is unfriendly and everyone should know there is a nightclub that opens at 11pm and shakes the entire hotel until 4am. Definitely DO NOT stay here if you have children!

    I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!! It is in a terrible neighborhood and not very good condition. I did not leave my room from th time i checked in to check out. I was lucky enough to be able to order pizza for dinner. Wsan't sure if my rental car would be in parking lot whn i left in the morning.

    The hotel staff is very rude, doesn't greet well. Their parking issue cannot be resolved rather negative tone was given by the staff. We paid for queen size but got full-size beds. Very small bathroom and room with no ventilation.

    First of all the pictures that are on the hotel.com website are VERY misleading. The lobby of the hotel had serval towels thrown over a chair and on the floor. The room was not at all what was pictured. The beds where very thin and looked like they had been used since the hotel opened. The room smelled like smoke it was hot and also humid in the room. […] Honestly it was one of those hotels that you didn't even want to take your shoes off. After being there for about 15 minutes I ended up checking out. The hotel is completely over priced for the conditions that I saw. I would NEVER recommend this hotel not even to my worst enemy.     I wanted to ask for hot water for tea but they didnt have coffee machine inside of the room. so I asked at the front and they said they dont have any coffee machine or hot pot. and they told me to go to cafe within the lobby. in that cafe, they charged us 3 dollars for hot water.

    Front service is probably the worst one I have experienced. They are not friendly. Vending machine are broken and there is no complementary breakfast. Very old hotel. Shower is difficult to work with. If you just need a room to stay for a night, it maybe ok.

    When I can in the person at the counter asked about my flight. I jokingly commented that it was not much of a flight because I was staying locally. He ignored me gave me no eye contact quickly gave me my key. He did not offer any information about parking or any information about the hotel in general. The hallway was smelled musty and their big hanging air freshener machine was out of air freshener. The room was moderately clean, but everything was outdated, rusty, smelled musty or like mildew. We checked the mattresses for bedbugs, like we always do, and was surprised (because of the condition of everything else in the room) to find that the mattresses and sheets were super clean! They had no iron or ironing board in the room and we had to request one. They gave us a mini one and small iron.
