The hotel overall was good. The location wasn't the greatest, but it was just a quick easy walk to the T stop. Also very close to the TD Garden. Parking was limited, but we were able to get a spot for the couple of days we were there. The room was nice, newly renovated, and very open. Good location, Target and Grocery store right next to Hotel. Water pressure was low but no complaints. Very CLEAN! Family friendly, coffee was excellent, kids loved pancake maker... and it was all included. Parking was free! Major help!

This is definitely not the most upscale hotel you'll ever stay in, but it was a really nice place to stay for the price. The rooms are recently renovated and modern. The hotel was always clean. Stayed for 4 nights. Checked in on first night on the late side after a long drive. The front desk person was great at getting us checked in quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was as described. It was set up and ready to go early. Ample amounts, variety and was constantly re-stocked throughout the morning. My son would sleep […] late and though he would arrive at breakfast a half hour before the end time, there was always food available. Hotel had parking on premises. Parking was tight at times but I never arrived at the lot and found it completely full. There was a shopping center within walking distance with a grocery store, drug store, marshalls, mcdonalds, and dunkin donuts. In another direction, you could walk a few blocks to a street with plenty of small restaurants. Overall room and hotel were very clean. Staff was very helpful. Only negative would be that there was some traffic noise that you could hear from the room but honestly, it was not bad at all. I would definetly go back. Read more

My stay was very good. The only comment would be additional food. Perhaps cold deli sandwiches at lunch time or even for dinner if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. It would also be a source of revenue for the hotel. Also, there was no Gym facility to unwind.

I had to spend the weekend at Harvard, the hotel is right between the college and just over the river from North End. It's also close to the Interstates. The only downside was that there is almost no parking, many times I had to park across the highway. All in all, I was very satisfied with the quality of the hotel vs. the price.

Hotel itself was pretty nice for business travel, possibly for a short stay otherwise. No restaurant within the hotel but they did have a good complimentary breakfast. Location wasn't bad per se as it was very close to downtown Boston, however the surrounding area in Cambridge isn't the nicest. Before I booked the room I asked about restaurants in the […] area and I was told there were 20+ restaurants within walking distance ("a couple blocks") from the hotel. I took them up on the directions and after walking through a run-down neighborhood I was presented with questionable-looking bars and seedy bodega-like places. Definitely not a place to walk around at night and definitely no real restaurants in the area. But if you're looking for a clean, friendly, name-brand hotel within short driving distance everywhere in the Boston area this is a good choice. The next day the staff called a taxi for me and failed to tell me that it was not a metered cab. When I brought this to their attention, they simply shrugged their shoulders. Room was recently redone. Very modern. Tv mounted on the wall. Nice touch. Bathroom was nice except the shower curtain. The mount was broken and the curtain would not stay in place. Water went everywhere when showering. My suit got wet that was hanging on the door. Room smelled fresh and clean Overall a really good experience.

Room is clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, the bath room door cannot lock. They sent maintenance man right away. We asked for a roll-away bed. Got it in a short time and they did not charge extra. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cambridge for the Holiday. The fireworks were great despite the rain and lightening. The hotel was very clean. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable especially after walking from the Museum of Science to the Hyatt Regency to the Holiday Inn-we were tired! The breakfast wasn't so great. The banana's were […] over ripe and the pancake machine didn't work. Presentation is important. Also, I was wondering why the staff at the front desk did not have name tags on. Recently renovated (in fact, some work was still under way), this was an extremely convenient hotel for our Boston visit with family. It's about 2.5 blocks away from the Lechmere T station, where you can pick up a train/subway ride to most Boston tourist sites and where you can also pick up a 69 bus to Harvard Square in Cambridge. A cab to the airport […] is $30 and a quick ride when traffic is light. But public transportation is the way to go in Boston for almost all other destinations. Read more

The stay would have been fine if the fire alarm hadn't kept going off. It woke us up at 12:30am and then went off again while we were having breakfast. Hotel was centrally located near a train/subway station. Just a short 10 min walk to the station. Seemed safe neighborhood with some good restaurants nearby ( Eastside Bar and Grill) and great pizza place. Downside was it was near a very busy street. Ask for a room away from the main street.

This hotel is great. Nothing to complain about. Big rooms, warm heaters. Can't hear neighbors. Very polite and professional staff. Affordable rate. Green line is about 5 min walk. MIT is 15 min away. Nothing to do around there though.

Free parking and good breakfast more than compensate for out of the way location. Excellent service and friendly smiles. We enjoy walking, so a couple blocks to the T and 30 minutes to downtown was not objectionable.
