We asked for a room that looked at something pretty if possible and were given a room with a lovely comfortable window seat looking out at a beautiful... tree and building with great architecture. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Unexpectedly, I fell in Harvard Square, and spent a few hours in the Emergency Room. Upon returning, on crutches, we asked about room service, which would be closing in 15 minutes (it was 9:45pm). The front desk called them to alert them that we would be calling. The waiter who delivered the meal was kind and gracious, and must have mentioned to some others what had happened, because when breakfast was delivered, the waitress who brought it graciously asked how my ankle was, and commiserated, having had a similar experience, yes, ice is good! We requested and were given late check-out so my husband could go home to get our car, and they brought up a wheel chair so I wouldn't have to travel the halls on crutches. The two meals we had were delicious, and the setting made for a comfortable and pleasant place of refuge. Unfailingly, our experience of staff was kindness and graciousness-We will return again, hopefully to enjoy our stay as originally planned! by a Hotels.com guest on 05/07/12
