The hotel's atrium lobby features glass elevators that overlook the Charles River. Interior balconies are lined with natural greenery accents. The on-site restaurant, Zephyr On The Charles, affords view of the Charles River through expansive windows. The restaurant serves American-style steak, chicken and fish dishes. Zephyr On The Charles - Views of the Charles River are lovely all day from the large windows of the Zephyr, and even more so in the evenings when the Boston skyline sparkles with light. A variety of all-natural New England regional cuisines are served. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Friday night New England Seafood Market with live entertainment. Friday evenings from 6 PM - 9:30 PM enjoy live contemporary modern jazz favorites by Aaron Gottlieb's Trio.
Recreation
The hotel's 75-foot swimming pool is set in a glass-walled building. It features racing lanes and a retractable glass roof as well as a sundeck overlooking the Boston skyline and Charles River. An adjacent exercise room offers more than a dozen cardio and strength-training machines with satellite TV. A Nordic spruce sauna and eucalyptus steam room is located in each locker room. The great people at this hotel will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Unfortunately, the HVAC controls in the room are tied to a motion sensor, so unless you're mobile in your sleep the A/C is going to shut off and make for a stifling environment- just awful engineering. Hotel was ok, what one would expect from a Hyatt. The staff on arrival were not very friendly, appeared VERY stuck up. Location is not great for exploring Boston.
