"It was fine for a night"
We had to make an overnight trip to Grand Forks and chose the Springhill because we generally have "good luck" with them. The greeting at the front desk was poor, and the decor of the hotel is just a little bright and funky. "Beautiful hotel, but I wish the room was cleaner."
This is a beautiful new hotel, unfortunately the bathrooms in out room were not well cleaned. there was dust and hair on the floor and a few hairs in the shower =( I was grossed out. For a hotel this new it shouldn't be hard to keep up.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Loved the Theme"
Loved the theme of the hotel, however pricey and the bathroom in the king suite is right in front of the bed with sliding doors and no locks on them. We were celebrating our anniversary and though we found the location handy, we were not impressed with the "moderness" of the decor. I guess that's not our style. "Not as good as last time ...."
Our experience at this hotel was less pleasing than expected. I stayed at this hotel just over a year ago and was impressed. This time, the room wasn't as clean and it felt stuffy. Another major concern I noticed this time is that there is no fan/circulation in the toilet area! We also had to have our key cards reprogrammed a couple of times as we couldn't […] get into the hotel using the side door and it took us numerous tries to get into our suite. On a positive note, the breakfast was just as good as I remember it. On the whole, I found this hotel to cost a bit much for what we got. We will probably stay somewhere else next time. "Lack of service"
First impression the hotel looked great. Once we checked into our room we noticed stains on the toss cushions, bed, and a blood stain on the sheets. Our room was not cleaned and when I mentioned it at the front desk their response was, " Well did you have your do not disturb sign up? We don't know who was working or what the situation was." Bad answer! […] We removed the do not disturb sign at 10:00 a.m. The bathroom amenities were poor at best. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you don't want your hair to feel like straw.
