The room was very nice, clean, well-stocked. The only negative (and it wasn't enough to give a lesser rating) is that the light switch controls power... to the microwave & wasn't readily obvious. Getting pretty flustered & ready to call the office for a replacement, I happened to notice a tiny sign over the switch. By tiny, I mean a little strip above the switch. That might be better served if it was a bit more noticeable, as well as a note that the fridge should be turned all the way up if you really need something cold (like milk). The room was very clean and comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed our rest in Ukiah very much. And, this has nothing to do with the motel, but take heed, if you eat at Stars. We looked in the motel guide for a place to eat. Stars was located very nearby and sounded quite promising. We were warned. It DID say generous servings. OMG...generous is an understatement. We were starving, overate, and STILL needed a "doggy" bag to take half of it home. Delicious to boot! Obviously, at these rates, it's not the Ritz, but I'd recommend it and definitely plan to stay there next time through. by Darlene C from Chico, CA on 03/16/11
