Stayed here for to see a Marlins game, because we read "local area shuttle up to 1 mile" as any location within a mile of the hotel--not so! They go to the hospitals, sometimes, but that's about it. If you want to take the shuttle to the ballpark, you have to buy a ballpark package. Very disappointing. Also, parking as of August 2012 is over $18 with […] taxes, per night, unlimited entry/exit--which is good because there's not much in the surrounding neighborhood and negligible public transit. Those two facts aside, the room was lovely and modern, the breakfast included eggs and sausage, and the toiletries were top notch (Paul Mitchell shampoos). Read more

This hotel is very nice - they accomodated my group with rooms across the hall from one another. There is a decent little gym, Wifi, nice breakfast in the morning, and a decent bar/restaurant at night. The hotel is right off of the overpass, and a 15 min walk (or even faster trolley ride) from the new Marlins stadium. The negative is the surrounding neighborhood - you are right in the medical district, but about 3 blocks from a crummy section of urban Miami. Stayed here to go to the baseball game at Marlins Park. The neighborhood is poor, but there is a trolly to catch to go to the field. Felt safe because numerous groups would be walking to and from the trolly stops. The rooms were awesome! very Large, 2 beds + sofa couch, fridge, microwave, desk, dresser. Having been to Miami three times in 2011, we were not satisfied with the location. When we went for a stroll of the area we did not feel totally safe. There was no restaurant close by. It was a good thing we have family in Miami. We only stayed at a hotel because we were cruising, and didn't want to bother there work schedule on Monday. Over all very good hotel. New hotel and very well decorated. Very satisfied. The only downside is that it is a little bit far from downtown (15$ cab ride) but would stil lrecommand it.

Rooms were so clean, neat, comfy and spacious. Staffs were attentive and friendly. parking was 15 bucks, else no cons for this hotel. It was worth the money. I would highly recommend it for my friends.

This hotel was very nice inside and the service was great. The only thing is that it did not feel like the area was safe. Both the shuttle driver and guest services warned us about not going out at night by ourselves. The nice thing is the hotel offers shuttle services to other areas, we just wish they ran later. Very comfortable, clean hotel for pre cruise or hospital stay. Very good for-pay lunch and free breakfast. No where to walk to. Shuttle / cab ride to all sites. Sign up for shuttles with check in for best times. Small pool. Areas both inside and outside to wait or socialize in.

The hotel is not in the most fabulous part of Miami bit it was really nice and I consider my self to be pretty picky. From my window I saw the highway and parts of the university of Miami health district. The room was very spacious and really nice. The main problem with the room is that the bathroom doors do not close and the same for the toilet room. […] When I say it doesn't close, I mean you can pull the door shut but there is no lock. If you're staying with other people as I did, its a tad bit uncomfortable. Overall, the room was great...we had a mini living room, flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, desk, 2 queens and a pretty big bathroom and walk in closet. Its perfect unless you're looking to stay on the beach. We drove everywhere with our own car so getting around was not a problem. There is a daily parking fee at the hotel and you park in their garage. The pool was pretty small buy who needs a pool when you've got South Beach nearby! Read more
