"This is THE place to stay"
This hotel was unbelievable from the minute you walk in. The hotel is so beautiful, the room was out of this world, and it was huge with a jacuzzi tub and balcony overlooking the pool. The staff was so friendly and recommended a great place for brunch. The gym and pool are perfect for relaxation and they have trendy lounges in the hotel, with an awesome […] DJ. Downsides: downtown Miami has nothing going on, so we drove to South Beach every day, but it's only 10 min over the bridge. Also, valet at the hotel is $30/night, which is steep for Miami. "Nice place"
Rooms, service, clubs, pool, view were all amazing. My girlfriend so happen to be on crutches the weekend I stayed over but the staff was so friendly an helpful our stay was amazing. This hotel is in downtown Miami with water views. It too about 15-20 minutes to get to South Beach. The staff was extremely responsive. The food service was excellent. "Epic Hotel in Miami-Luxurious and very cool"
I stayed in Epic for long weekend at end of June 2010. The staff, from bellmen to valets to front desk staff to room service, were all courteous, professional, responsive and very friendly. The hotel's lobby was austere but modern and funky, very interesting. Our 26th floor waterview room was very comfortable, spacious, with very chic bathroom appointments, […] individual bowl sinks, stone wall tile, large soaking tub and rain shower head. The balcony overlooking the pool and Biscayne Bay was large and private. The water view from our room was not as extensive as I'd hoped due to blockage by nearby large buildings, so most of our vista was in direction of Miami's shipping port cargo cranes, but they were in distance, and there was lots of water between the Epic and the cranes to enjoy. The king size bed was firm and very comfortable, sheets were plush and soft, towels were lush and full, not threadbare or worn like so often in hotels. The Epic's facilities were great. The 16th floor pool deck, with two separate horizon pools, was awesome. The workout center on the same floor had lots of equipment, free weights, numerous treadmills and eliptical machines for a good workout. I did not dine at the hotel restaurant there on the 16th floor, but it was nicely decorated and looked great. I thought when booking my room that the required valet fee was pretty stiff on top of already high-end room rates, but we were in and out of the hotel several times each day, and the valet staff always had our car ready for us within 5 mins of our call down to them. It was certainly easier than fighting for a spot in nearby parking garage and then risking life and limb crossing busy Biscayne Blvd. The location was great, in Miami, not Miami Beach, but less than 10 mins off I-95, and we were over to Key Biscayne or on Ocean Drive in South Beach in less than 15 mins. "Incredible staff and overall experience."
Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Epic for two nights. After reading reviews we decided to spoil ourselves and go for the Club level, which was completely worth it. From the beginning we were treated like royalty, shown to our room personally, and introduced to our concierge for the duration of our stay. Our room was gorgeous, a fabulous big bathroom, […] two sinks, and huge shower and bath. We were both very happy with the room, lovely touches from the list of items available in case you forgot them, (such as hair and make-up items, etc.) to the fold down service at night where they even closed the curtains and set the air conditioning. Lovely balcony also. One tiny tiny issue was the beds perhaps fell a little short of luxury of everything else. They were a little hard, and the dressing gowns were not very soft. But it is only because the rest of the hotel is such an incredible standard that I am even pointing this out! They were still comfortable. The club level food was lovely, 5 dining times a day. Just light food, but tasty. We also ate in the Area 31, where we tried the Chef's tasting menu which was a treat as it was very unsual food, paired with unusual sides and flavours, but it worked! We took full advantage of the free bar until 11pm in the club lounge. In particular, Lucia and Ruby were an absolute pleasure in the Club lounge. And the selection of drinks were excellent and they were far from meagre with the measures. The pool area is gorgeous, though it loses the sun in the afternoon. Service here was also impeccable, with chairs being set up and water brought and a nice touch of sunscreen available too. I would absolutely recommend this place. Forse l'hotel piú bello in cui sia mai stato. Atmosfera molto di tendenza. Servizi al top. È nella downtown vicino a Bayside Marketplace. Camere stupende. Vista magnifica fronte baia. Realmente es un hotel de lujo!!, el lobby espectacular muy grande, recibimos muy buena atención en la recepción. La habitación que nos correspondió con vista al agua muy linda, grande, cómoda, un mini bar con todo. La ducha grande pero no había tina. El internet WiFi gratis al inscribirse en la página de ellos. El servicio de valet parking un poco costoso […] (US$ 32 la noche). La piscina espectacular piso 16 aclimatada, súper!!. En cuanto a su ubicación es en el centro de la ciudad, hay que desplazarse por 20 min para llegar a la playa, pero es un buen punto de partida para ir a otros lados (Aeropuerto, Sawgrass Mill, Dolphin Mall, Miami Zoo, Seaquarium). "EPIC er virkelig episk!!!"
EPIC- hotellet var alt hvad vi havde forventet og meget mere! Stedet er så smukt som billederne viser og personalet er alle sammen utroligt søde og hjælpsomme. Det vildeste var dog vores værelse, som ikke bare var smukt, men fuldstændig fantastisk og vidunderligt. Der var masser af plads og et dejligt stort badeværelse. Vi havde også en stor altan, […] som var meget anvendelig til at sidde og se den smukke udsigt ud over Miami (seasight kan klart anbefales).
