If you are without a car, this hotel is just two long blocks from a train/tram station. The train offers convenient service to the airport, and the free tram gets you right into the downtown area. The clerk was wonderfully helpful. Late checkout? Not a problem in the least.

We stayed here one night prior to a cruise. The place is conveniently located a couple of blocks from the metro station and has a Walgreens and Publix Supermarket right next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The con to staying here (at least the room we had) was a lumpy, uncomfortable bed! Niether my girlfriend nor I could get any sleep […] because we tossed and turned all night long. This bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable beds that I ever slept on! It was a great experience. I had booked a two beds room through Expedia, but somehow hotel had only one bed room for my party. When I showed them the receipt, they provided me two single bed rooms for the same price - Great customer service, I think :)!

The stay was very nice. The room was very clean. The problem is there arent any places in the hotel to eat. There arent any places to eat close by. So we went across the street to walgreens and got a sandwich for dinner, and a box of donuts for breakfast.

Went down for Miami FSU game with a buddy! Great location to stadium, beach and Coconut Grove. Rooms excellent. Fridge in the room microwave in room!!!

My overall rating for this hotel is a 2. The hotel service was ok. The people at the front desk were friendly but they weren't helpful, it really seemed like they couldn't do much for you. The condition of the hotel is not good at all. Our toilet was broken when we checked in and would not flush for most of our stay and our fridge was constantly leaking […] water which ruined most of our food in our fridge. We came home at 4am and the toliet wasn't working and we went to the front desk and they said they couldn't fix it and I asked if they had a bathroom in the lobby area they said no and I had to beg to use the employee bathroom which they let me use but it was ridiculous that we couldn't sure that bathroom in our own room!! The room was not as clean as it should of been. I felt like you had to walk around with shoes on because it was not properly vacummed and then there was spots everywhere all over the kitchen. It really wasn't cleaned as good as it could of been. The comfort was ok, the beds are not the softest things to sleep on and the comforter they give you seems very old and outdated. Mike at the front desk was so very helpful. Helped us with extra pillows, local advice and even looked up info and directions for us. Very clean. Nice place, fridge, kitchen, etc. Went to see a show at Bayfrom Park. Great place. Cab ride from hotel to Bayfront Park ranged from $6-$18. Walgreens, gas station and Publix in walking distance.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. The location is great if you want to visit downtown Miami. Short walk to the Metromover and Metrorail. Non Smoking room was clean. Shower pressure sucked but that wasn't a make or break for me. Overall I was satisfied and would stay there again for that price.

the room was clean and comfortable, although the TV could have been bigger. Easy access to the Metrorail so we were able to access our destinations without renting a car. Our original fifth floor room was affected by the air from the upper floor smoking rooms, but we were moved to the third floor and had no further issues.

Although the hotel was clean and in a decent neighborhood, the staff was a nightmare! We had booked a King and was told upon check-in they were no longer available, (We arrived before4PM). No assistance was provided other than to contact Hotels.com. The front desk clerk was rude. He ignored me for over 5 minutes as I stood there, thinking he was trying […] to accomodate our fully paid reservation. He finally spoke when my husband arrived. When asked what he was doing during that 5 min wait, he replied, "I was wondering why you were still here. Nothing is going to change." I'm unsure if they refused to accomodate our full reservation due to the fact we booked via a third party or because of our pet (small dog). When I asked for additional pillows, he refused to accomodate my full request; only offering 2, stating he was limited. ( Later that night, my husband was allowed the additional 2 originally requested by a different clerk.) The hotel itself is in Downtown, which is really convenient. The room was clean, the hotel was in good shape, and the staff was really friendly. There's also a Walgreens across the street which is great since the room had a fridge, microwave, and even plates/utensils.

We stayed two nights here this last weekend for Ultra. The hotel was clean and convenient to a walgreens across the street and the free Metro runner is 2 blocks away. The room is a little small considering that it has a full kitchen. I did not like that we had to go downstairs and ask exchange our dirty towels daily, but otherwise it was a modern and […] clean room for the price we paid. Most hotels triple their prices during Ultra Music Festival for disgusting rat hole hotels, so it was nice to see a newer hotel for a decent price. Eight of my girlfriends and I stayed here for a night before we departed for a cruise.The hotel was close to the Port of Miami (maybe 2-3 miles) which made for a cheap cab ride. The hotel lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. They had over booked the two double bed rooms so instead of getting two of these rooms as planned, they gave us 4 single […] bed rooms at no extra charge...totally fine with me! They were very accommodating. Each of our rooms had a mini kitchen and a desk which was nice. My only complaints were that our rooms were supposed to be non smoking but all 4 of the rooms they gave us smelled like smoke and the beds were very hard. I do think this hotel was pretty good considering our budget and the fact that most hotels in Miami are rather expensive. At any rate, the hotel lobby and rooms were pretty clean and while I wasn't blown away, I would consider staying here again. Read more

I stayed for 1 night before my cruise and spent $10 each way to take a taxi to the port area for a Heat game and to hang out at the Hard Rock in the Bayside Marketplace. We had to switch moves due to our bathroom having water all over the floor which was leaking from the ceiling. Once we got to another room it was disgusting. It was dirty, smelled, and the location is in a rather seedy part of town. We only had to stay there 1 night, but didn't even want to do that. We got up super early the next morning just to get […] out of there. Neither of us showered (to nasty) and slept in our clothes for not wanting to get our PJ's we needed for the rest of the week dirty. We aren't high maintanence- we love to camp, but expect a room to not be dirty.
