The Metromover links the AmericanAirlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace, the Brickell Avenue financial district, the Miami Art Museum, and many other central attractions. Passengers can transfer to the Metrorail to venture north and south. The Port of Miami is near downtown, as are three ethnic enclaves: Little Haiti, Little Havana, and Liberty City, the historic African-American neighborhood.

"Too much"
It was not horrible however it was not great. With better research I could have stayed at a better hotel for the same amount or less. This hotel is a last minute resort type of deal. I expected more for the almost 200 after tax. I'm not mad, just not completely happy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lumpy bed!"
We stayed here one night prior to a cruise. The place is conveniently located a couple of blocks from the metro station and has a Walgreens and Publix Supermarket right next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The con to staying here (at least the room we had) was a lumpy, uncomfortable bed! Niether my girlfriend nor I could get any sleep […] because we tossed and turned all night long. This bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable beds that I ever slept on! I will find myself a different hotel the next time that I cruise out of Miami. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for!"
My overall rating for this hotel is a 2. The hotel service was ok. The people at the front desk were friendly but they weren't helpful, it really seemed like they couldn't do much for you. The condition of the hotel is not good at all. Our toilet was broken when we checked in and would not flush for most of our stay and our fridge was constantly leaking […] water which ruined most of our food in our fridge. We came home at 4am and the toliet wasn't working and we went to the front desk and they said they couldn't fix it and I asked if they had a bathroom in the lobby area they said no and I had to beg to use the employee bathroom which they let me use but it was ridiculous that we couldn't sure that bathroom in our own room!! The room was not as clean as it should of been. I felt like you had to walk around with shoes on because it was not properly vacummed and then there was spots everywhere all over the kitchen. It really wasn't cleaned as good as it could of been. The comfort was ok, the beds are not the softest things to sleep on and the comforter they give you seems very old and outdated. The location is good though because it is in downtown miami and there is a walgreen and publix right there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Extended Stay in Miami-Brickell"
The staff was very nice to us upon our arrival. The only complaint about the room was that the bed was in disrepair. But for the price and location (close to the Port) it is okay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bare-bones hotel"
This hotel was very bare-bones. No extras AT ALL. If you're just looking for a place close to the port and only staying for one night, it's fine, if you can find it. There were no vending machines (that we could find), couldn't find the ice machine, and there was no food anywhere close by. We ordered food from a flier that was under the door and the […] flier said they took credit cards. Then when the food arrived we were told they didn't take credit cards so we had to send the food back. The TV looked like it was at least 20 years old and the remote barely worked. You also had to pay for internet, which most hotels now offer for free. We were planning to leave our car there during our cruise we were leaving on the next day but after looking around at the neighborhood, decided not to. The parking lot is not gated or anything. I would not recommend this hotel unless you just want a bed for the night before your cruise. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
