The first room I was assigned had not been cleaned, towels on floor, bed unchanged and unmade. I had to drag my super heavy luggage back down to the front desk to request a new room. Then I had asked for a wake up call which I never received. Good thing the airline called me or I would have overslept. Also the carpet in the room I had appeared unclean. We had an over night stay in Miami. The location of the hotel is very convenient being close to the airport and walking distance from the Miami Metro Rail station. The only draw back is the NOISE! We went out in the evening after checking in and had to pay the garage parking fee before we could exit the garage. I went to the front desk and the agent told me we had to pay the parking fee per day. The room and services at the hotel were nice and staff was good. Their restaurant was a different story. The food was stale and was tough, for this food it was extremely overpriced. Our check in was a breeze and we were greeted cheerfuly. Everything was satisfactory, and we stayed on the club level which included the appetizers, fruit and drinks in the evening ($ for the alcohol of course) and a nice continental breakfast in the morning in their clubhouse suite. Our keys didn't work the first time and had to have them re-keyed […] for breakfast. The clubhouse offered computer monitors free of charge and you could print your boaring passes also free. However the printer cartridge was empty and we never did get our passes till the next morning, which was minor. The bed was extremely comfortable. The walls were a bit THIN and you would be able to hear conversations in the next room and in the hall. It wasn't a problem as everyone went to bed early. The only complaint is that the bathroom light also switched on the fan and it was very outdated and LOUD. Quick check-in and given coupon for an excellent breakfast, the restaurant was very pleasing before starting a busy morning at the airport. Room was well kept but obviously aged a bit.
