"Room was really beat up and old"
Disappointed- room was worn and abused. Some things in room were renovated- counter and shower- lots of wallpaper unfolding and cuts and scraped. The walls had so many scrapes and chipped paint along with bad patch marks- it was sad. The door to bathroom had paint torn off all the way down from closing before it was dry. Fan for a/c was the loudest […] we had ever heard -very annoying to cool room down some.Paid extra for Bayview--our location of window was next to inside corner to the side of others and there was no privacy at all with drapes open to the view. Very poor food choices only thing within 6 blocks -Burger King and Checkers fast food (bad) poor location to walk in with many homeless -beggers across the street at all hours. The hotel room was extremely immaculate with modern amenities such as flat screen TV and work station for your laptop. I loved the large bathroom and shower head. However, I didn't like how the hotel charge daily for Wi-fi service and the Hilton gift store is extremely over priced even higher than the airport. I never heard of anyone paying close to […] $4 for a 20 oz Vitamin water. Indeed, lucky for me I was aware of how to get around the downtown area to a cheaper store. I also found paying close to $30 per day for parking is absurd. Customers pay so much for the rooms already after the Hilton finished add all the additional taxes. Parking and WiFi should at least be free. In addition, the dining room area overprice food for little chicken salad close to $30 after adding tip which is automatically included into your bill. Overall I believe you get what you pay for this hotel has great features such as the rooftop pool and fitness center. The pictures online do not do this hotel justice. Its very beautiful and the price I paid on hotels.com was very affordable. It's downtown and on the same street as the American Airlines arena and only minutes from South Beach. The staff was nice, although the bartender could have been a bit more friendly. The pool is nice as well. You must be prepared […] to pay $28 a day for valet parking. If you get hungry late, there's a Burger King and another burger joint right across the street that stays open very late. I know I went about 4 in the morning. "Great and relaxing time"
I booked this hotel for Fourth of July weekend and booked it rather close to the date we were going to be checking in. I reserved a bayview room and when I arrived I was told that they were sold out of bayviews. I really wanted a view of Biscayne Bay and Bayfront Park so that I could watch the fireworks from the room. The front desk staff bent over […] backwards to help me. "Hilton & the Strictly Sail Miami Show"
We arrived early, and had to wait for check-in, which is officially not until 4 pm, but they will get you a room as soon as one is available. We waited in the bar and had some lunch, eventually. There was only the bartender to take our order, while 2 other hotel/restaurant people ran around mainly looking at the computers, so service was slow. The food […] was good, and we had room service twice, which was very prompt. A neighbor had the TV on and too much of that noise came through the wall. The "Metromover" is very close by and is a great way to get around, especially to the show. Opening windows would be a plus. Being from Minnesnowta, we would have enjoyed the sea air at night. There is construction in front, but out room did not overlook the street, so not a problem for us. We arrived at the hotel in the evening as the sun was setting, receptionist was friendly and helpful. Went to the room and wow it was amazing the room itself was great 2 very comfy large beds, the view was spectacular as we had a bayview room wich i would highly recommend on getting. We were on the 10th floor. The hotel carpark is on the 7th floor it […] is not very well signposted of where you have to go to get to reception from the car park.The downtown area is a bit run down but if you walk for about 20 minutes you will come to Bayside shopping centre where there are lots of shops and stalls and of course the harbour. Here we found a stall doing a days cruise to the Bahamas which i would highly recommend very long day as had to be up at 5am! but definately worth it.The beach there is out of this world. When you walk out of the hotel there is not that much do do,so if you take a short drive to south beach is not far away just over the causeway. Beautiful beach but was surprised to see seaweed. Lots of shops to look around near the beach. There seemed to be alot of planes flying over the hotel at night so if your a light sleeper then i would recommend ear plugs. You cannot fault the hotel itself just the area outside the hotel seemed a bit rundown. I would recommend his hotel to friends and family as we had a great time there. Trots att jag bokade fel datum via internet så var Hilton vänliga nog att lyckas ändra datum på denna bokning, något som jag verkligen uppskattade. Servicenivån var på topp och hotellet hade väldigt sköna sängar vilket jag värdesätter högt, många sängar är så hårda, men dessa var riktigt sköna och lagom mjuka. Det var också en kanonfin utsikt från hotellrummen […] med jättestora glasfönster. Läget var också perfekt nära Omnistation där bussar till Miami Beach fanns att tillgå och Metromover för gratis åkning Downtown i Miami. T.ex. É um típico Hilton velhao, meio surrado. A tarifa não é cara, mas também não oferece muito. O atendimento é bom, o estacionamento sim é caro, mas o mais caro é o café da manha, pois nao vale o preço. "Hilton Miami Downtown - 1 min du métro"
Hotel très agréable situé dans le quartier des bureaux mais très proche des bus et métro pour rejoindre le centre animé! Le métro se trouve à 200 metres de l'hotel et est gratuit, il permet d'aller dans plusieurs coins sympas ou de rejoindre le métro payant. Les bus se prennent au même endroit pour rejoindre South Beach et ne coutent vraiment pas cher. Nous […] y étions pour des vacances touristiques et le rapport qualité/ prix est excellent. Rien à voir avec le prix des chambres sur Ocean drive..etc. Donc il ya certes moins de charme, et il faut prendre les transports pour sortir mais ça n'a vraiment pas été genant (le taxi n'est pas cher non plus)!! La chambre est spacieuse, beaucoup de rangements, SDB en très bon état. La pisicine est bien mais semble moins grande que sur les photos et n'est pas au dernier étage comme je le pensais. En revanche, on a accès H24 à une salle informatique avec internet, imprimante...
