i enjoyed my stay,the room was clean and because we were there for a week the staff at the front desk gave us a refrigerator an a microwave i think that was nice because they didn't have to give it to us so that was pretty greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good staff, comfortable room"
Aside from the fact that their shuttle runs every hour (which I didn't know) my one-night stay at this La Quinta was very good. When I got there the shuttle driver was the one who checked me in, helping the other staff member who was behind the desk try to process all of us who were on the shuttle. He was very pleasant and cheerful. I got my room right […] away and it was all I needed. Just a comfortable, quiet place to spend the night. THe continental breakfast was welcome. I had to get up early and this filled me up till later. Even the security guard was helpful to me. She could see I was concerned when I saw the shuttle drive by the front window--I thought it had left--but she assured me it was coming back. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport. "good location-poor mantenace."
The elevators were dirty and hot and located on the backside of the different buildings. No ramps or walkways from the main building to the rooms. 2 ice machines on 2 different floors were broken. Coke machine ate up my $1. Went to the lobby to let them know and they said "yeah sorry about that it only takes coins" then why isn't there a sign that says […] that?!! "Cheap base to explore Miami and Florida Keys"
The staff were friendly and there was wifi (very slow) and free breakfast (a free-for-all event with other guests which we didn't partake). We stayed two nights and on the first evening we arrived about 10:30pm straight from the airport. The area looked less friendly in the dark, especially when we saw a group of people loitering around two cars in […] the parking lot. The second evening when we returned to the room, our electronic key didn't work which got me worried, but apparently it was a common occurrence which the staff quickly sorted out for us. Notre chambre d'hôtel était très spacieuse et toute neuve, très propre, matelas de qualité, sdb très bien avec baignoire. TV écran plat et avec les chaines du cable. Mac Do et Fast Food Wendy de chaque côté de l'hotel, nous sommes arrivés tard, très pratique... et surtout l'hotel organise des navettes gratuites de l'aéroport et pour aller chercher voiture […] de location, très bien rien à redire, l'isolation phonique est tout de même légère, si vos voisins parlent très fort à 6H00 du mat comme pour nous, vous serez réveillés.
