Well after the first night, it was great! First night we had woman in room next to us screaming and crying for hours. When we heard her, we called for security. They checked but crying , sobbing, and banging door lasted through the night. At one point we were so frightened that we stacked our suitcases in front of our door! I recently stayed at Intercontinental Miami with my family and had a great time. The hotel is perfectly located next to the bay, park and running path. View from the room was spectacular and I was impressed by the entire staff. Nice outdoor swimming pool, loved the hotel lobby. I will definitely stay at this hotel again

For about 4 days of staying at a"5star" we couldn't even get hot water in our shower. When you pay top dollar you at least expect the basics. It was convenient to cruise ship dock. We wish they would have had an airport shuttle. We felt it was too expensive. My cousin stayed there in January and paid half the amount for the same type of room.

My stay here was brief but the room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. The location is wonderful. Parking is pricey and the minibar needed more mixers- those are my only complaints. I wasn't here long enough to try the food. I would stay here again.

If you need to be near the Port of Miami for a cruise, this is very close, and you can walk to the Bayside shopping area from there, but there is no smoking at this hotel as I was promised. I had to get dressed and walk across to the cab area to have a cigarette. It was degrading.

Loved the location, very close to public transport and to local hotels. The room was very clean and hotel staffs were very nice and helped when i asked for directions. I could not recommend to for room services, because its very expensive, other than that its a pleasure to stay in Intercontinental hotel.

O don't line to stay in a Place where you feel like walking wallet, and that how I felt at this place! I have never seen a hotel where you will pay if you move things in the fridge, not open, consume, only use it as to keep some bag food from a restaurant, well that's how it works here! We had the "Business Lunch" in ToroToro restaurant. Fabulous lunch in the style of a Brazilian raddichio. Room service was prompt and attractively laid out on the moveable table. Martin, the Concierge, did a superb job arranging tourist activities, both on organized trips and getting to museums by public transportation. Friendly staff! The guys at the concierge desk extremely helpfull and trully willing to go the extra mile to accomodate our needs. Our room had a very nice bay view and we were able to see the sun rice in all its beauty.... Nice and convenient Starbucks right at the hotel. Walking distance to good shopping and green areas....

Perhaps this is standard in pricier hotels, but the service and comfort of Hampton Inn Brickell felt much more generous and accommodating in a stay just weeks prior. They put a family in the room next to the elevator. we stayed there for 4 nights. Sheets were not changed. I could tell because of my son's goldfish crumbs that were sleeping with us from day one.Sheets were almost plastic in consistency and not what would you expect from a high end hotel. The tour bus guide told us that they imported the marble to […] build this hotel from Italy. I looks nice but even carpets were not vacuumed on daily bases. I complained that the coffee stash was not stocked the first day we were their, it took them 2 days to replenish that. Thank God for Starbuks inside the hotel. Valet parking costs 36$ per night and you have to tip them off everytime they get the car.No breakfast of course. It is close to AAArena and Bayside market (walking 10min with child). But there is a closer hotel and there is public parking that we could have used but we did not know Miami before this trip. We did not even get a room with a view on the ocean. I did not emphasize that either. That was probably my fault. All in all, I did not want to go back to that hotel till I am ready to sleep because of all these little things that got to me. It was way overpriced and she charged us for a coconut water which we did not take and internet usage...$18. Plus there was no available shuttle they offered...ur was a rip off...the only plus was it was close to Bayside.

My room was missing the remote for the shades, and had no lights on the end tables. Also, there were no complimentary anything. Pay for Wi-Fi, Breakfast, parking...etc, and all of those amenities were quite expesive.
