The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. So nice and friendly. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the room was nice but it seemed a bit outdated. There were a few stains on the carpet etc. One negative was the TV. It had white squiggly lines a lot of the time. Wow, the employees at the Hyatt are the nicest people, they made our visit to Miami exceptional. We got married at Key Biscanyne and did not want to break the bank, this hotel fit the bill. My wife and I stayed one night before our big cruise. We had great views of the downtown area. There were plenty of restraunts and entertainment within walking distance. "Carpet, walls and additional fees"
Valet parking is 30$ in addition to you room charge fyi. The carpet is DISGUSTING( looks about 30 years old). and the walls have a finish on them that snag and ruin your clothes even if you get close to them..Stay away from the walls! Bathroom had mildew in it. The pool looks great in the pics but is terrible espically for Miami. its more like a hot […] tub with NO view and surrounded by buildings so there is NO breeze at all. Its also a very loud hotel as it is on a major rd and there is a drawbridge right next to it. I dont mind that but you may..Its not a bad hotel overall service was exceptional but I will never stay there again. And yes, I did have 2 expensive shirts ruined by the walls. Also if you stay here its just weird but there is a partition wall that divides the bathroom from the room..Seemed like it made sense when I saw it.... but after staying in the room I see why they dont build them hotel rooms that way anymore. I have had wonderful experiences in the Hyatt Newport. We got married and spend our 1st anniv. in Newport. However, we were very dissapointed with the Hyatt in Miami. Hotel room wasn't anything special. The pool area isn't that great. The fitness centre is also quite poor. The location is the only saving grace as it is close to the cruise ship terminal. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, stay elsewhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Quando cheguei no hotel fui informada que não havia suite king disponível como era minha reserva. Me ofereceram uma suite queen , que possui um valor menor do que paguei. Apenas depois de muita discussão. E quase 30 minutos que eles conseguiram a suite que eu havia pago (suite king). Outra questão e o valor dos serviços do hotel: carrissimos ( internet- […] valet-café da manha, etc) Por fim, esqueci um livro no quarto na minha saída - liguei lá um dia depois e eles não "acharam" e uma semana quando voltei ao hotel eles novamente não haviam encontrado o livro.
