The Hyatt Regency Miami is located on the Miami River in Miami, Fla. The hotel adjoins the Miami Convention Center and the James Knight International Center. The Bayside Marketplace is located 5 blocks away.
Hotel Features.
The atrium-style lobby is decorated with leather sofas and chairs, as well as a soaring Yaacov Agam sculpture. Dining options include The Riverwalk Café that serves gourmet meals, and offers take-out service. Currents Lounge overlooks the Miami River, serves appetizers, houses pool tables and features 52-inch flat-panel televisions. A business center is staffed 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, and offers fax, photocopy and print services. A total of 100,000 square feet of flexible function space accommodates events. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel (surcharge). Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and the complimentary 24-hour Hyatt Stay Fit fitness center. The fitness center houses cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, and free weights. Self parking(surcharge) is available on site with no in/out privileges.

The 24-story Hyatt Regency Miami offers 612 contemporary guestrooms with South Beach-inspired decor. Guestrooms feature gold, beige and royal blue fabrics, modern-style pale wood furnishings and streamlined lighting fixtures. Technological enhancements include flat-panel televisions and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Hyatt Grand Beds are draped with 250-thread-count sheets and topped with 6 pillows. Bathrooms are stocked with Portico toiletries. Accommodations contain refrigerators on request, coffeemakers and complimentary in-room safes. All rooms are non-smoking.

The Metromover links the AmericanAirlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace, the Brickell Avenue financial district, the Miami Art Museum, and many other central attractions. Passengers can transfer to the Metrorail to venture north and south. The Port of Miami is near downtown, as are three ethnic enclaves: Little Haiti, Little Havana, and Liberty City, the historic African-American neighborhood.

"In downtown but prepare to wait for your car..."
The hotel was good. Hotel has no parking so we left the car with the valet which costs extra and seems under-staffed. We left the car in the valet service and in two occasions we had a long wait for the car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointed"
The Concierge and Valets were great, very service friendly and helpful. Other than that the room was less than desirable. I stayed for the Christmas weekend with my mom and kids. Everything was lovely. At checkin they upgraded one of our rooms to a suite so the 3 kids (2 college, 1 teenager) would be more comfortable. "The Hotel Hyatt Regency down town Miami"
The hotel was very clean. The people at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. I was upgraded to a suit, without paying any extra cost. I ask for a courteous upgrade.
