"Do not go here if you have mold issues"
I used the reviews when booking this hotel and was expecting a newer, shiny, clean smelling, friendly visit. We booked a non smoking room for our family. The room we were given did not have a non smoking sign outside of it and smelled like mold. It also did not have a mini fridge and micro as advertised. There was obvious water damage on the ceiling […] and walls, even visible before entering the room. Our noses immediately started burning. We went to the front desk to discuss the situation. The evening front desk manager was rude and dissmissive. She did offer us a change of room. It was on the same floor (the whole 3rd floor seems like it has water damage, while walking to the elevetor it is obvious that the lower floor is much cooler, not as bad of a smell and no obvious signs of water damage). The 2nd room had a non smoking sign and was a bit better.It smelled better and had a mini fridge and microwave, but i repeat, the whole 3rd floor was dank and smelly. The morning desk manager was much friendlier i must say. The breakfast and attendant were better than average. One last comment, the night desk manager seemed to be outside smoking and on her cell phone more than she was at her post. Every single time we went out she was there, smokinng and on her cell. "first time stay in n ga"
although the room was what i would expect of Hampton Inn having stayed in other locations, there was a constant clicking noise somewhere around the microwave/refrig area.
