It was OK; nothing special. The hotel could use an upgrade in my opinion; new hallway carpeting, fresh paint in the halls and stairwells. There was mold around the bathtub. The pool had cigarette filters and white rocks in the pool. The spa had a sandwich sign that said it was closed but it didn't have anything over it. The room was nice and conveniently located to all the sites in Portland. There are alot of local restaurants located nearby the hotel. This hotel was very clean and had a nice pool and hot tub area. The beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great and offered a good variety of items. I learned a valuable lesson from this, make sure you contact the hotel and ensure that all ammenities are up and running. I was very disappointed to learn that the pool was closed for repairs, which looked more like a complete remodel.
