Front desk lady was on her cell phone and not very polite but she did check me in quickly. The room was small but clean, but bring your own blanket. Not hard to find, right off 75. The hotel is in a busy commercial area and could use renovation. However, the management is very nice and staff very friendly and conscientious. If you're looking for a roomy suite with a coffemaker, etc. this isn't your place. The rooms are standard Inn size, at best. I was disappointed that the cleaning service put on a sheet that had a cigarette burn on it as a clean sheet. Also, our first room had an air conditioner that clanked and then began to have problems working. The staff were helpful, […] and moved us to a much cleaner and more comfortable room. "Convenient location"
This clean MicroTel was my home base for several days during a conference in Georgetown. I felt safe and secure during my stay and the location was close to shopping, lots of eating places, and the interstate on/off ramps. On the third morning, I had to ask the staff to check my room for an odor which was unpleasant but not awful. I suggested changing […] the AC filter. That evening, my room smelled so much better. The one amenity that was lacking was a place to sit down to eat the continental breakfast. The couch and loveseat in the lobby were the closest places to sit and then the couch table served as a low dining table. The staff was friendly, the hotel clean. The room was small but comfortable. There was no blow dryer in the room and also no shampoo either. The bed was comfortable and also liked that the window could be opened. Also no computer in the hotel to use by customers which was also inconvenient. The staff was friendly and room also came with continental breakfast which was convenient. "Good place to stay for the night while driving"
We stopped here on our way down I-75. It was clean, small, comfortable. The rooms were a bit musty/damp because it is humid in the area, and they don't turn on the AC in the rooms until the guest checks in. This isn't really acceptable for that climate. You need AC to run 24/7 in the summer. Just a fact. So, we switched to a slightly less musty room. […] We had a good night's sleep though. I would stay here again if we were heading up I-75.
