Good hot water and shower pressure, Beds comfortable and towels were good. linens were dingy not dirty but just not white. Staff was very friendly, Wireless worked well but cable had the usual static on the low end channels. All in all better than sleeping in a car LOL

The staff was very friendly and helpful with some directions. I was disappointed in the breakfast and it would have been more comfortable sleeping on cement than the beds. They were way to hard. I wasn't expecting a resort but I just can't get past the beds.

It was a nice hotel but we did find what looked to be mouse droppings in the sheets. The person at the front desk didn't even seem to be shocked but she did quickly offer us another room. I wouldn't stay there again just because of that but otherwise it was nice. It did seem to be short staffed- there was just the one person at the desk from what I […] could see. First when I made reservation i said I needed 1st floor due to my leg issues and my mom being withus. So i go to check in and they had put me on 3rd floor. and elevator was out. I am unable to climb that many flights of stairs!! Also was told in a round about way i lied about being told i could have 1st floor not once but twice. so then they put us […] in room on first floor with 1 bed we had 2 adults one child. one of us had to sleep on the window seat. then when asked for extra pillow and blanket for window seat bed they took them the next morning when cleaned the room. Once we registered we were approached by an unknown female who came from a pickup with another guy sitting on the tailgate- she was very insistent that we give her money for gas- we suggested the mission and police she reported that she had done both- we did not give her money but reported this to the front desk- she informed us that the young man with […] the female had worked at the hotel. she would walk around the hotel and see what was going on. Yes, it's very close to the Horse Park. But, the bathroom had globs of black mold around the bathtub. The bathtub fawcet was decayed and corroded, almost slimy. The toilet had streaks of grime inside. The underside plumbing of the sink was covered with orangy leak marks and looked like it had never been wiped. The breakfast area was slapped together […] with used equipment and was not appealing or tasteful. The public area needs remodelling and is very crowded and miniscule, hardly functional in the morning when guests are all getting ready to leave. The employees smoke right outside the front door so you have to push through putrid smoke to get in the front door. I realize this is budget accomodation but it's pushing the edge of acceptable. Microtel Hotels have been in the past, clean, neat and thus projected a bug free pleasant stay. This stay, however, changed my mind. The hotel itself wasn't neat with various cleaners stacked hither and yon at the front entrance, the entryway door dirty with smudges, and a high pile of sheets in the work area clearly visible to visitors. The room itself […] had a few bugs, the fridge with visible food globs, and a musty smell, especially strong near the window. There had been a leak which was poorly covered over by a square of wallpaper. It wasn't worth the price. The only redeemable was the staff who were very pleasant and helpful in every area. At the low end of the pricing range, I didn't expect The Ritz, but I would have liked clean and neat. After all, that doesn't cost a thing. Read more

I realize that this is a 2 star hotel, but we booked a room with one queen, but most importantly, a handicapped room with a roll in / walk in shower. When we got there that night we were told the only room available had 2 beds, which was okay, but the shower was not what I was promised and so for those two nights I couldn't shower. The room was musty, damp smell throughout. The bathroom was dirty. When I complained the response was that there was a new maid on that side. But they wouldn't clean, wouldn't switch me to another room. I had not stayed at a Microtel before, I certainly won't again.

The hotel was nice but the entire building including lobby , elevator and halls reeked of cigarettes! It was fine b/c we only stayed one night but if i had booked for the whole week i would have been very upset.
