This hotel use to be the Crowne Plaza. It has the same structure as before BUT the detail was disappointing! Therefore, this Holiday Inn compared very favorably to my usual choices, especially considering the discounted weekend rate. The beds were the most comfortable in which I've slept in some time. I've been traveling to/from this part of New Jersey for years on business and, thanks to the economy, have been trying lately to find a decent hotel in the sub $150 price range, preferably closer to $125. Coming from years of staying at the ever-consistent-quality of Marriott Courtyards, I've been disappointed by most of the 3 star hotels in this area […] in my target price range. Many have been shabby and unclean. The Crowne Plaza, however, exceeded my expectations, particularly with respect to the bed quality and the quiet rooms.
