"It was interesting"
This hotel is on the beach and I did get a big room with an ocean view. The hotel is very old and out dated; I was OK with that, but not having a working elevator was hard on my back and many of the people older than I were really struggling to get up and down the three flights. The elevator was broken early Friday when I got there and it was still […] not working when I left. I had the impression is had not be working for awhile. The room was big with a full kitchen like promised and there was a walk in closet. There was free WiFi (750k), coffee, breakfast, ironing board and a safe. The rooms are very noisy because they have windows from the 1950’s that let all the sound in. The hotel is a 20-30 minute drive to any of the major tourist places, so it was not a great hotel for site seeing. Most people were there to spend time on the beach and it is OK for that. "Great Getaway"
We had a fabulous time with family on our stay. The rooms were clean, very spacious, and the air conditioning was quoted by my husband as being "the best air conditioner I've ever felt at a hotel." The hotel is right on the beach, and they even provided 2 beach chairs for us. The kitchen was also nice and spacious, as was the walk in closet. We enjoyed […] a day on the beach followed by some relaxation in the pool and a night on the town, it was truly a great time. Wir hatten Zimmer 210 mit direktem Meerblick. Ich muss sagen, nach vorherigen Bewertungen war ich positiv Überrascht. Die Anlage ist Sauber und gepflegt. Hier und da natürlich auch in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel ist natürlich im Boom der 80/90er Jahre enstanden. - Es ist Super im Stadtteil Surfside gelegen. Weg vom Trubel, dennoch nach genug am Geschehen. […] Nicht weit entfernt ist Aventura, dort kann man Einkaufen, seinen Hunger stillen oder einfach nur verweilen. Wer gar nicht fahren möchte kann direkt über die Strasse ins Publix wo der Bedarf aller Annehmlichkeiten gestillt wird. - Unser Zimmer war groß genug und verfügte über eine Küche mit Kühlschrank, typisch Amerikanischem Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster sowie Geschirr und Töpfe. Die Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung, überrascht war ich, wie wir nur kurz am Wasser waren und bei Rückkehr war schon sauber gemacht und sogar abgewaschen. Handtücher werden täglich gewechselt. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei... Ob Cornflakes, Toast in weiß/Vollkorn, verschiedene Säfte, Kaffee, Jogurt und verschieden Aufstriche. Das Hotel verfügt auch über zwei Pools, ein beheizter im Innenhof und ein ungeheizter an der Stirnseite mit Meerblick. Beide waren sauber! Das Meer quasi vor der Tür kann man den Urlaub hier getrost genießen! Was ich eingestehen muss, das der Herr bei der Anreise schön etwas weniger hochnäsig sein kann... El problema es que el hotel me queria cobrar 2 habitaciones de más que habia reservado una empresa a mi nombre sin mi autorizacion y sin tener los datos de mi tarjeta. Despues de hacer el reclamo a VISA me reintegrraon el importe. Al hotel no le interesa si el huesped queda conforme, solo le intersa el dinero […] y nada mas. "Gammelt men velholdt strandhotell på North Beach."
Eldre hotell men godt vedlikeholt hotell direkte på stranden. Rommen er egentlig en liten leilighet med stue og fult utstyrt kjøkkenkrok og eget soverom med 2stk senger. Sovesofa i stua og TV både på soverommet og i stua. Meget bra frokost i forhold til normal standar i USA. Gratis parkering. Stor matbutikk og flere spisesteder i nærheten.
