"One Night Stop"
It was Victoria Day long weekend in Canada, and we decided to do some outlet shopping and hit a waterpark. We were finishing up shopping at Grove City and needed a place to stay the night before going to Splash Lagoon the next day. This place was relatively cheap and on the way to Splash Lagoon. All the other hotels in Grove City were fully booked. […] As you drive up to the Inn, you can tell it needed a big facelift. Check-in was quick and simple. The room was dated, but everything worked. The pool was big but really beaten up and warn-in. Also strange is that the deck was carpeted; it was soaked and you can smell the mildew coming from it. The other obvious problem was nobody came to check on it. Towels were everywhere and the water was cloudy...yuk. The biggest issue is that it cost $6 per person for breakfast, which in this day and age is unheard of. So the room was only $7 cheaper than the newly built Quality Inn down the street and they had a hot breakfast. We ended up at the McD's for breaky which defeated the purpose of finding a cheap room for the night. I would not recommend staying at this place until they complete a major overhaul. ROOM WAS DIRTY, MOLD ON CEILING & IN BATHROOM. SMELLED MUSTY. WALL PAPER COMING OFF WALLS IN SPOTS. MATRESS LOOKED ABOUT 20 YEARS OLD. CHECKED, BUT DIDN'T FIND ANY BUGS. ONLY GOOD THING.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Refurbishment"
The hotel was in disrepair, really needs an overhaul....very antiquated fire alarm system .....furnishings also in need of upgrade....ran out of hot water....would not recommend to anyone until overhaul has been completed...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cheap, but there is a reason for that"
This place looks like a run down Knights Inn. Purple and peeling. When you can't see the bottom of the pool in the three foot end, don't go near it. No toiletries left in the bathroom. Someone else s candy stuck to the floor. A hotel on its last legs.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Needs an upgrade"
Hotel needs to be upgraded. Bathroom floor was dirty and beds were well worn. You could hear people upstairs walking. Not a pleasant experience. Would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No Free Breakfast"
In the description for the Days Inn Meadville, it says "A complimentary breakfast is served each morning."...this is NOT true! There is no free breakfast. Breakfast is $5.95 per person each day. They have a brunch on Sunday that is $9.95 per person. Also the room did not look like the pictures on Hotels.com. The room we had was dark and dingy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room served its purpose - a bed to sleep in after a 75 mile bike ride. Overall, the hotel needs some deep cleaning and updates. Everything looked dingy, and the hot tub looked downright frightening. I'll probably look for a different location in the future, but it will suffice in a pinch.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Commencement weekend"
Beds were ok and the bath was acceptable. However, the dresser drawers were so dirty with hair and other debris we couldn't use them. I think the staff is reasonably good but more attention to detail is needed.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Updated NEEDED"
Our stay at the Meadeville Days Inn was a disappointment. The front desk was very polite and accommodating. The room left a lot to desire! Our beds were from the seventies. They were extremely uncomfortable. The decor of the room was in need of an update, the bedspreads, drapes and carpeting were dark, dingy and gross. We stayed because of its closeness […] to Linesville, where we had a wedding. Wouldn't recommend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed in a non-smoking room, but other rooms on my floor were smoking, including an adjacent room and the room across the hall. It smelled like smoke and stale sweat and toe jam. Every place was book, so had to book it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Limited Options"
There are limited options in Meadville during Allegheny College events. i would use this as a last resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Needs upgrades and updates to keep it competitive with other hotels in that price range. Could use a good cleaning to rid of an old building smell.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekend trip on a budget"
We stayed in Meadville Days Inn since we couldn't afford the price at other hotels which was double the price. Although the hotel was out of the way from Erie and Grove City Outlets, the commute was reasonable with time and gas. For the price we paid, we got what was expected, can't complain too much. There was a basic breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, […] hash potatoes and other stuff for 5.95 during the weekend. Kids were free. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean room, nothing updated"
Room was clean. Very outdated. Pool area was very dirty. I would not go into the pool or hot tub. Dirt ring around waters edge and floor space on deck was very dirty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
