It was okay. Stayed overnight for our kayaking experience with OEX. A little outdated for a Sheraton. Bed was stiff but extra soft down-feather pillows. Small bathroom. "Old + tight"

"Love the Sheraton La Jolla"
I stay at this hotel frequently, and it's a great setup. Very close to UCSD and all the other institutions in La Jolla, large, welcoming rooms, a great gym, a pool, and a nice layout. Its in walking distance to a shopping center with a Sprinkles cupcakes, Peet's, Whole Foods, and a CVS, so you have pretty much anything you could want around the corner. […] The only negative I can think of is that the hotel restaurant not very exciting, but it doesn't really matter with so much other food close by. The location was great if you need to be close to UCSD and Scripps Health. The staff was friendly but it took almost 30 minutes to check-in at 8:30 pm. They were a little short staffed and there was a line of guests waiting for check-in. The room was fine except that the room a/c - heating unit did not work. "Pleasant hotel with beautiful garden setting"
I have stayed at the Sheraton several times, even before it became a Sheraton. I like the setting with the nicely maintained garden, pool and hot tub and the convenient location close to UCSD (where I work when in La Jolla) and to many stores, while a bit secluded and quiet. "Confusing hotel"
This was hands-down the most confusing hotel I've ever stayed at. It's layout makes no sense, and the way the rooms are numbered give you no indication where you are actually staying in relation to where you are. The signage was terrible on top of that to make it even harder. I like the room and surrounding neighbourhood. but i don't like the services. i put the order form for the breakfast in my door knob. my schedule to get the breakfast is 6:00 - 6.15 am. i wait till 6.20 and i give up and then i have to check out. when i asked with the front desk lady, she said i didn't put any order for the breakfast. I stayed 4 days in this hotel and it was comfortable but a bit small especially the bathroom where there was barely enough room to close the door while standing inside.One other issue i had was the room had bottled water which if you drank it you would be charged 2.00 dollars but every morning there was a free 1.50 newspaper at your door,go figure! This hotel has the potential to be great. Lovely service, nice restaurant, and super convenient for UC Davis BUT they have a real problem with their wifi. It did not work the entire time I stayed. I was given excuses, I was told it would be fixed (it wasn't), I ended up having to go to a Peet's to use their wifi. "Really Small, second rate resteraunt"
