"great summer getaway"

We decided to overnight at the WA in Park City rather than down in Salt Lake City at the airport. The rate on Hotels.com was so low, it was a no-brainer! This stay was in June, so of course there was no skiing. The hotel is, as you'd expect, very posh. Heated pool, BIG hot tub, and the rooms are very well appointed and quite comfortable. "Great family get away"
Just got back from spending 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a full (beautiful) kitchen. This room easily accommodated 2 adults and 3 children. The sofa bed was very comfortable and they provided a free roll-away bed. The pool was heated so everyone enjoyed swimming even though it was cold and snowing. "Park City's Waldorf Astoria is truly AMAZING!"
As we were planning a trip to Salt Lake City, UT to visit family, we decided to stay in Park City for one night to visit all the unique little shops and of course the Outlets. We booked one night at the Waldorf Astoria based on the pictures on the website, and of course the great price for the season. Check-in time was 4pm, but we called ahead to let […] them know we were going to be late and to my surprise when we showed up going on 6pm, the hotel staff actually remembered talking to us earlier. We were provided with top-notch service, from dropping our car off with valet to being helped to our room. A shuttle runs to and from Main Street until 11pm, which was a nice chance to take a break from driving our car all around town. After an evening on the town, we returned to our room where we enjoyed after hours room service by the beautifully lit fireplace. At 1am, we found ourselves sitting on the balcony with blankets around us admiring the stars. Now, I've said many times before that I've had the best sleep of my life, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to the sleep I had after sleeping in the more than roomy and comfortable king size bed in our room. The bedding was all 5 star and literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I could have slept for days! The bathroom... what can I say, other than spectacular! The jetted tub, the adjustable TV, the lighting... it was beautiful and made our time in Park City as relaxing as we ever could have imagined! Check-out was just as easy as checking in. The staff was so kind and the hotel really is worth a special stop if one is looking to visit Park City, UT.
