Headlining musical acts appear regularly in the 5,000-seat Mark G. Etess Arena and the 1,400-seat Xanadu Showroom.
Open Friday and Saturday nights, The Casbah nightclub features spotlighted professional dancers and DJ music. A $20 cover charge (subject to change) applies only to men.
A 15th-floor pavilion lined by desert-scene murals shelters an indoor lap pool measuring 75 x 35 feet. A surrounding deck has lounge chairs, umbrella tables, and pool and Ping-Pong tables. Complimentary yoga classes are offered on the pool deck Saturday and Sunday mornings. Outside the pool pavilion, an expansive seasonal sundeck has padded lounge chairs, umbrellas, misters to cool sunbathers, and a snack bar.
The hotel's health spa (surcharge) includes men's and women's saunas, steam rooms, spa tubs, and a fitness center with cardio and strength-training machines and free weights.
Adjacent to the hotel, the Boardwalk offers a four-mile beach, fishing, bicycle rentals, a miniature golf course, and a jogging and biking route. The hotel supplies beach umbrellas and lounge chairs (surcharges); towels are complimentary.

I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel's general condition on the outside. The room I stayed in was well done. Cost of room was reasonable but everything else was extra. Had to pay for Internet and restaurants were over priced for the quality of the food although there was 'fast' food available. Breakfast did not open until 7AM so don't be […] any early riser. The room was amazing! I loved the way it seemed endless and had everything you could need. The view from every window and the balcony was incredible. My only complaint was the maintenence of the bathrooms. The main bathroom had a leaky sink faucet that kept dripping no matter how hard we tried to turn the handles. "This place is a joke"
Do NOT believe the rating for this hotel! This place is more like a 2 star at BEST. The elevators are dirty and scary, the pool is closed indefinitely & they charge PER HOUR to use the gym. The hallways are smelly (And nauseatingly pink), the rooms are completely outdated decorwise-faded tiger print chair, leopard print curtains, yellow painted bamboo […] headboard & nightstand, and a dark wood bureau. Bathroom is floor to ceiling pink marble with one completely mirrored wall - it was so bad it was kind of funny! Housekeeping would randomly make the bed or change the trash (but not both!), hang up used towels from the floor, bathroom counter & floor was filthy. The man who checked us in was quite rude - told us we were in a resort town and just 'suck it up' for getting charged for everything! Business center does not open until 8am, and if you want to print anything out, you have to go to the UPS store on the second floor and pay! this whole experience was just one big disappointing joke after another. We stayed for 4 days & 3 nights - we were really looking forward to staying in a '5 star' hotel, expecting a luxurious stay and had a rude awakening from the second we got there. OH - and you have to pay to park every time you take your car from the hotel - and it changes depending on the day! I stayed in the new Chairman's tower. The room was large and well decorated. The bed was comfortable without being too soft. Could have done with a larger comforter in these cold months. After reading so many reviews didn't really know what to expect especially at one of the older hotels in AC. Very spacious room, clean and well maintained. I do wish the tub was kept cleaner. My overall stay was good but I did take exception to one security guard who for no reason decided to harras me. The "Chairman Tower" is misleading. I was registered in the older hotel rooms. Hotel restaurants were excellent. Overall hotel up keep has gotten real bad. Not a first class hotel that I'm use to. Had no iron or iron board in room, had to call for housekeeping.
