"hot water please"

The hotel and staff were very nice. I stayed for business at the convention center and the jitney bus stop was right out side. Which was a good way of going back and forth instead of a cab. My Valentines weekend with my girlfriend... I am in my mid 20's I booked this 2 weeks in advanced it was by far one of the cheapest hotels with a 4 star rating (+). When I was trying to pull up I was told nicely to wait because an ambulance was coming. I checked to see and it was an elderly man being taken out on a stretcher. As we proceeded to check […] in I couldn't help to notice the range of the age group was anywhere from 60 -80 (- if you are young) we went to the hotel room and it looked very nice I was pretty impressed with everything except for the old fasion tv. We then went to look for food and basically we felt out of place with the whole age disparity. We got a cab and went to revel. So overall is it clean yes, cheaper then other 4 stars yes, can you sleep at night yes. "Good for an impromptu getaway"
The hotel is perfectly fine. No bells and whistles but good service and very clean. The casino is on the small side but it's not too crazy busy since the place is at the end of the boardwalk. My husband and I went to the Atlantic city Club hotel for a weekend. Although the service was great, the Ono chineses restaurant was superb. We livei n New York and have to say that this was the best chinese food we have ever eaten. The ambiance was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean. This hotel which was once the most profitable hotel/casino in AC (as the original AC Golden Nugget) has got some age on her but for the most part clean and the staff was helpful as well as pleasant. "Good value"
This was the second time I stayed at the ACH and while it was not quite as nice as the last time, I do believe it is a good value of the money. The common areas of the hotel are nicely kept and the rooms are clean and pleasant. There are some strange items missing in the rooms but nothing that can't be overcome. For instance, no area guides in the room. […] Since the area off the boardwalk is a little iffy, it would be nice to have an idea of other restaruants, etc. in the area. The reason this is a concern is because during the time we were there, the middle of the week, almost all the big restaruants werre closed and only the coffee shop was available. My companion had the room next door to mine and she had a refrigerator and I had a coffee pot but we didn't have both. The staff was pleasant and the check in person was the same gentleman who checked us in last year and was very nice. I asked him how long he had been there and he said five years.
