Since we couldn't get an affordable room at one of the hotel casinos, we gave this place a shot on 4/27/13. It was reasonably affordable for a Saturday night that included 2 full beds. You can choose between a smoking and a non-smoking room. Clean, comfortable, and professionally staffed (very nice people). The beds were very comfortable. Slept like […] dead man. Room was a nice size with a basic bathroom. The location was somewhat close to the beach, but you need wheels. Too far to walk. They have an arrangement with Resorts for a free shuttle on weekends with a generous schedule. Parking on the premises was plentiful. They have an outdoor pool for the summer. Important if you have kids. The outside of the motel had some minor cosmetic maintainence issues, but no big deal. The interior and the rooms were nice, but maybe a little dated by 15 years. Since everything in the room was maintained and worked, and clean, then the dated look doesn't really matter. I would return for another stay. Read more

Grounds Were Filthy, Staff Was Filthy, Rude & Unprofessional , Room Smelled Horrible, Nothing Worked (TV, Phone, Heat Ect) Booked A Room With Two Doubles And Was Told They Only Had A Room With One Double. I understand that the motel was significantly damaged during the recent storm but if they are open for business then they should provide advertised services or at least advise potential customers that service is limited. Things like the extremely poor television reception, no coffee maker in the room or even in the lobby(smelling strongly of mold/mildew) […] at 6:45AM are things that should be able to be corrected. Apparent renovation work in second floor rooms above occupied rooms is inexcusable regardless of the storm damage. Now I know Knights Inn isn't a 4 or 5 star establishment, but my stay was extremely disappointing. Expedia should remove that facility from their listing until they meet some standards. Read more

Was close, 5 minute drive from the boardwalk, continentel breakfast had much to be desired. Hotel clean though, nice swimming pool outside. Ice machine and pop machine were broke. Would probably stay again, due to price and convenience and cleanliness. Room was comfortable. Hopefully they get the ice machine working.

This was the absolute worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was filthy and stunk of cigarettes and body oder. The air conditioner shut off every 30 minutes and we had to call the front desk to have them turn it back on, because the front desk had a remote to the room to shut it off. We went to a concert and didnt get back untill late so we left […] the air on to cool the room down and when we returned the air was off. We complained but the manager told us to leave if we were not happy. We asked for corporates number and he refused to give it to us. We will never stay at this hotel again even if they gave us a free nite. Read more

It was suitable for an overnight stay without the high cost of a casino hotel on a weekend. The staff was extremely friendly. The king bed was comfortable and thoroughly clean. Convenient enough to take a taxi to Boardwalk and offered a casino shuttle as well.

We didn't like where our original room was so they accommodated us by giving us a nicer room with no problems. It was also very clean and the beds were very comfortable and no bed bugs ( we checked). It was on a very quiet street and we slept very peacefully.

Stayed for a concert at Bader Field. It was right across the street and very easy to get in and out of town. Headed to AC for a concert and a Halloween party. Didn't figure to be in the room very much, so I went for cheap. Can't say I'd take my bride there on our wedding night, but for a "pass out pad" it worked fine. It is not the Borgota, but for the price it works under the above set of circumstances.

Knight 's Inn was better than I expected it to be, especially since it was not on the main strip. The second floor had it's own little terrace,& they had a nice little set up in the main lobby where you can eat and look at TV. They had several restaurants that delivered and was inexpensive. all in all,I very much enjoyed it.

would not recomend this place to anyone. My itinerary was not read even though it was right in front of the clerk. We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child requesting 2 full size beds we went into the room and the room wasn't even big enough for 1 person let alone 4. The location of the hotel was a little bit away from where I was spending most of my time but there was a shuttle bus that takes you back and forth to the Tropicana. Breakfast was not exactly what I expected although the coffee was good.

Checked in late Saturday night. I took the train to AC and didn't know how far the hotel was. It's not near any of the major hotels, but the price will most likely reflect this fact. Bed and sheets were comfortable and visually clean. Left the room and returned Sunday around 4am. Surrounding rooms appeared to be quiet and housing small groups and families. Woke up Sunday morning to help a friend get a cab. Continental breakfast bar was quite busy, but the make-your-own waffle machine was pretty interesting. Make your own Belgian waffle. We booked ahead using Expedia. When we arrived at the Knights Inn, we were told that their computer system wasn't working. So they didn't know we had paid. They couldn't check against our credit card, because they said the credit card machine wasn't working. If we wanted our room, we had to pay in cash. Conveniently (hah!), there was an ATM at the bar […] next door, so we could get cash for the room. So we were double charged and of course we didn't get a receipt from the front desk for our cash payment (the printer probably wasn't working). The room was not very appealing. We had a hard time finding the hotel because it had a small sign on the side of the hotel. When we arrived there was no one at the Front Desk. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to check us in. staff where amazing : so helpful and lovely, best service I have had in a month long US trip. However the room was freezing and not very clean. For the money we felt this was a poor choice and we have stayed in better for less. What was annoying was that this was the 'secret deal' hotel.

Good cheap hotel. Staff is slow but useful. Just be carefull when they asked you to pay the room, I've told them it was paid by Expedia. Location is not too far from main hotels, we've walked to Sammy Hagar's Beach Bar, around 45 minutes, a good way to see all shops and hotels. The best beach bar of AC is worth the visit. Check-in is 3pm, not before, […] unless you want to pay 20$ more. The room seems nice and clean. The exterior door don't seem to close properly, easy to break in. Shuttle bus are quick, cheap way to get downtown. A 15$ cab ride after a lovely night in AC. Going back there with friends anytime, with my family no way !!
