"hotel in flux"
Hotel changed names from homestead suites, between booking and stay, making it a bit more difficult to find. The rooms were decent, but not very meticulous on the cleaning. The front desk staff was very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Thanksgiving night 2011 homestead inn/fishkill ny"
The hotel was generally quite satisfactory but when we returned to our room that evening we found that the toilet did not work. We called the desk who informed us that housekeeping was not available at that hour. We were unpacked and settled for the evening when we were advised the only solution was to change rooms. "mixed review"
We had reserved a non-smoking room, only to find ourselves in a smoking room. They were fully booked and couldn't move us after we asked them to. They did send up fabreeze and some type of other spray, which helped a little bit. Then the air conditioner started smoking halfway through the night, so we had to turn that off, thankfully it was a hotel […] with windows that opened. "Homestead Fishkill"
Comfortable, well laid-out room. Bed a bit firmer even than usual for hotel rooms. Unfortunately, not very clean - the bathroom and shower in particular looked overdue for a good scrubbing.
