"not at all what we expected, will not stay again"
Although the rate was competitive the Ramada has gone downhill since our last stay. It seems that since the Hotel across Hwy 4 has closed all the issues moved to the Ramada. Check in was smooth and our room was upgraded at no additional cost to avoid the noise of the other side of the hotel, so we were told. Room showed signs of wear and the bathroom […] had peeling paint. Housekeeping missed our room after the first night. When we returned late on our third night we found that housekeeping had removed all the towels in the room. When we called the desk we were told that they were busy and did not know if they locate any towels for us, that they would call back. Which they did not. We called back after 30 minutes to be told some towels had been located but not a full set. The hotel was loud due to the other customers, some of which were obviously up to no good. Homeless-bums in the back of the parking lot. Maintenance woke us the second morning to ask if they could check for leaks in the bathroom. We have stayed prior times but not again. Non Smoking Rooms booked 1 week in advanced but when we got there @ 12 no rooms yet available until 4pm & they smell smokes. TV is not working- someone came but not knowledgeable to fix it. Please change the carpet in that supposedly master king suite...the towels were old and brown, I dared not touch my skin with it. The room looked nothing like what was advertise online. Very dirty, especially the bath tub. They need to reevaluate their cleaning services. The hotel is located right off the highway. "Dirty and duscusting!"
Yucky! As i checjed out and was looking for my daughters shoe under the bed there was a used energy drink under the bed and old chips. The walls were banged up and the door has been kicked in and repaired before! Lets just say I didn't sleep well knowing that! The shower had no plug for baths for kids. Hotel had an abundance of loud construction vehicles entering and exiting at all times during the early morning hours (1-6am). "Problems in Antioch"
Motel was right next to Freeway and was very noisey all night. 1st night at 3;30 am a jack hammer was tearing up concrete. The cold water became very hot and was not drinkable. "Nasty Hotel"
This is by far the worst hotel i've ever stayed. I arrived really late in the evening and was so tired I fell asleep so I did not get a chance to look around. When I woke up I went to take a shower and it was as if no one had cleaned it from the last occupant, there was hair and dirt in the tub and on the wall! The face towel by the sink looked used […] as well. The couch was stained and I was scared to look at the sheets I had just slept in! "Worst Hotel Ever"
Base on the standards we have here in California this Ramada Inn should be closed down. This hotel is very dirty, unsafe for the people staying there, there rooms has bed bugs and smells of smoke. "Never going back"
I work in the travel industry and I know you get what you pay for but this hotel is falling apart! The mattresses were horrible, air conditioners did not work, frig did not work, the pillows were a pillow case stuffed with pillow stuffing, the towels were disgusting, staff was unfriendly, etc. I've actually stayed at this hotel several times before […] and have never had a problem...I suggest new management and a renovation! "Never Again"
One would think that the name say's it all. Not so, not in this case. The first room they put me into has the handi-cap shower, where you just walk in, no bath tub. All over the walls, shower head, shower curtain, floors, etc was what appeared to be splattered blood or coffee. I called the front desk and they sent the head maid to look at it. She said […] that they would clean it up for me. I said no thank you I want another room. Not only was the bathroom unhealthy and unsafe, but all 4 pillows had some sort of grease or mildew on the pilow cases. I took pictures of all of this. They moved me into the room right next door. At approximately 6:30AM the next morning I was woken up by a clatter. There was a man with his shoppig cart walking down the breezway and every 3 feet there are the crakes in the sidewalk. Then the man decided to go digging in the garbage can outside my room by the staircase. I asked the manager to tell who ever this is not to come so early in the morning as I'm on vacation and stay up late and like to sleep in. The next morning again with the clattrer and if that wasn't enough noise Cal-Trans is working on the freeway 100' from the hotel room. So between 5:45AM and 6:30AM I was woken up every day for 5 days by the heavy equipment operator running his tractor with the medal tracks and the garbage bandit and his shopping cart. "GHETTO!!!!!!"
This was by far the worst hotel experience that my family and I have ever had. The room we were in smelled and everything was broken, from the faucet to the bathroom door. We asked for extra blankets and never received them. We were up all night to people partying down stairs. People were yelling and screaming and running up and down the stairs.... […] it was horrible!!! Finally at 4am the police excorted the all night partiers off of the premises because they started fighting and breaking things. I was literally scared for my life.
