"Not all rooms are the same"
I have stayed 3 times here this ski season, and this time I ended in a room on 1st floor, one level below the main lobby. Rooms over there don't seem to be so well maintained as the others. We loved your hotel but I have one suggestion: At check-in I ran into an old friend who was also staying the night, so I got distracted. I forgot to ask if you offered a discount for AAA. When I asked the following morning, the front desk attendant said you do have AAA discounts but you can only apply them at check-in. They couldn't give me the discount […] after the fact. This hotel is in good location. Once you park you can walk to stores and some restaurants. Room was clean. There is a swimming pool and two hot tubs (one outdoor ) both were clean. "Cheap place to stay when skiing Copper!"
We stayed here one night after a day of skiing at Copper Mountain as we did not want to do the horrible drive down the mountain back to Denver! The room was nice with a small livingroom with a couch to sit on. The bathroom was big a spacious as was the rest of the room. The flat screen television was just right and I was able to catch the last half […] of the Ravens/Patriots game. The hotel is within walking distance of shopping and eating. "Overall nice room, but thin walls"
My husband and I choose to stay at the Comfort Suites for a ski weekend. The location and price were nice as it did not seem worth it to pay for a night at the resort itself. The room was spacious and it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room since we like to bring snacks and pre-made soups and chili for after skiing instead of eating out. "I would love to come back."
The hotel was very nice, clean and friendly staff. The air conditioner did not work. We were offered another room but we were unpacked and in our PJ's so we did not move. This is a nice middle of the road hotel that we used as our base to ski Vail. It could be used for Breckenridge or Copper resorts which are closer. Several good restaurants, supermarket, liquer store, and of course a Starbucks within 3 blks. Some of the rugs in hall ways and our room appeared a little worn out, but everything else, beds, pillow, towels, […] bathroom, were in good shape and very clean. The suite was comfotable and more roomy than many other similar hotels I've stayed in. A plus with several people and ski gear. Pool and two hot tubs (both indoors and outdoors) were nice. Included breakfast was nothing special, but typical continental style with bagels, roolsm cereal, some kind of pre-cooked scrambled egg to make a "egg mc muffin" style sandwich, and small sauages.
