I have booked total 7 rooms with two queen bed in McKinley hotel for my Niagara trip. But before I stayed there, I was worried about negative reviews... about the hotel. Now, I would say Don't look at previous reviews. My stay was on 29-30 May. Proc: - Room is very nice and in clean condition. - Few out of 7 rooms have refrigerator, Iron and microwave. all room has TV and coffee maker. - Breakfast is decent - Bed is very confortable. - You can find mall and shopping center very nearby. - less price Cons: - Hotel location is far from Nigara fall. - Room service is OK by Rahul P from Cedar Rapids, IA on 06/01/11

We paid a good amount for 2 rooms. When we went there there was a musty odor to the room. There was unemptied coffee in the coffee maker. Carpets needed change. There was a spider, rather big in one of the rooms, which we had to kill. Door always seemed ajar even when closed shut...kind of loose. The breakfast was ok and filling. This room had some clear signs of dust accumulation that shows it hasn't been cleaned for a while. The smell of the rooms, the lobby and the whole hotel was bad. It was like the smell of a really old room that has been closed for years. The outside of the hotel was in a bad condition. Our room had... a heating unit with no thermostat. and a broken window. the crib they provided was falling apart. a water leak in the bathroom... oh and they tried to put us in a room that was already occupied.
