"Hotel needs to be updated."
We initially thought the place was closed when we arrived because there wasn't a single car in the parking lot. Because it's attached to a conference center, it's hard to tell where the hotel entrance is. The room needs some much updating. We had a king bed, but it sagged in the middle...so as much as you would like to sprawl out, you got absorbed into […] the middle of the bed. It looks like they haven't updated the place since it first opened. There were light switches that didn't do anything, bare walls, and weird layout of the room. The hotel has obviously past its prime and is in need of renovation. For the price it was pretty good though. Right near Ralph Wilson stadium, Breakfast was pretty good. Bed was comfy but the paint was peeling in the shower. Probably would stay again if the price were right.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was OK but wierd at the same time..."
We were in Hamburg for a horse show and chose the McKinley mainly because of price. Our reservation was honored but most of our friends who booked directly through the hotel were relocated to a different hotel supposedly due to construction. We stayed Thur-Sun and the place was like a ghost town Thurs & Fri. The room was average clean but the hall/common […] areas were never vacuumed the entire 4 days of our stay because we saw the same dirt in the same location each time we walked in or out. There was evidence of rooms being remodeled so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The rooms were spacious and beds were relatively comfortable. The price was right and for the limited amount of time we spent in the room (sleeping and showering basically) it was worth it.
